Can House Managers Convince GOP Senators To Impeach After Most Voted That Trial Unconstitutional?

Simple answer is ‘NO.” The evidence will not be in their favor, so they will ignore it and use the constitutionality issue as an excuse to acquit and save themselves from the Trumpist mob.
Get ready to hear a lot of Republican Senators saying “Well, there was a lot of evidence presented against the former President, but uhhh…I didn’t think it was within the power of the Senate to convict a former President after he has left office.” Wait for it. It’s coming.
At this point no minds will be changed. The votes aren’t there.

@Diana Hulstine I doubt it while that is true a bunch are trying to indict him we can see he is playing it smart and staying in Florida he and governor desantis are good buddies and they won’t extradite him to ny or Georgia and if worst came to worse he could easily leave the country but I also doubt that would happen

I understand the sentiment, but when I worked for awhile in a psych hospital back in the late 1970s it was certainly not someplace I’d prefer to be. Besides, they would take my dogs away, take my guns away, take my swords away, take my knives away, take my carpentry tools away, probably put me on a healthier diet, etc., etc.

*Proof that this is unconstitutional is when Chief Justice John Roberts refused to preside over this circus!* There is NO language in the Constutition that empowers the Senate to put a private citizen on trial for anything! Impeachment is solely used to remove an official from office!
