  1. i don’t particularly mind being the billionth guy in line for this. there will be side-effects not discovered in the clinical trials.

  2. Well, how dare those countries supply themselves first.

The reverse psychology here is strong.

  4. And jeesus christ, the vaccines were all developed by university researchers on government grants, the big pharma companies just buy the patents and provide the manufacturing expertise. That expertise can be bought and nationalized.

  5. Better put a stop payment on that millions cheque

  6. That’s ok.. Im gunna donate my dose to a marginalized person

This bloke – anchor could be in a Terminator movie.

  8. Seems we have been sold out and the politicians in Canada are starting to worry. If they are not they should be.

  9. Where is the grant for the medicine ? The money is not doing anything ? Wonderland !

Have Moderna and Pfizer open Canadian labs here. Create some local jobs. Canada and other countries who outsourced because it was cheaper instead of keeping dire resources Canadian, keep waking up because of the pandemic.

    • No thanks. We need them and their products kept the fack out of Canada and everywhere else.I say we let them open up shop in the ocean

They might but of course they are in demand these days – if I was their CEO I would be shopping around trying to find out which countries will give me the sweetest deal. How much should the Canadian tax payer give them?

Hype is demand that’s not there

  12. I like that we have to wait longer for those experimental ( lethal ) vaccines 🙂

  13. Best news I’ve heard all year.

  14. Secure your own mask before helping anyone else. We need a Canada first policy

Who is actually in charge? The PM, the government of Canada or someone else??? I’m sure the world economic forum has nothing to do with this…. based on previous statements that simultaneously coincide with current events.

    Canada sucking at manufacturing. Classic!

  17. Canadian law is meaningless if you can’t enforce it. The drug assets are in other countries. Their national security laws will trump yours.

  18. to put it in short: we’re screwed up.

  19. Canada give the most and gets nothing in return sounds about right

This is such a farse… Canadian University Resersch Institutions are amongst the best in the world. Canada invented type 1 unsulin this way… Rather than throw money at foreign companies who have 0 intention of supplying a foreign country before their own, fund research institutes that have the capacity to develop therapeutics. BRAVO JUSTIN 🙄. Just my 2 cents.
