    1. @Patrick Weaver ….Google Bill Gates and Event 201….Then Google Bill Gates talking about the need for population control in MULTIPLE interviews…….This entire virus release was pre planned…..Google Rockefeller Lock Step and get back to me.

    2. @I’m your REAL dad. You know the fun thing about conspiracies? You almost never hear about the real ones. Sorry I’m a little old to go chasing fairy tales down rabbit holes.

    3. @Patrick Weaver……I’m not telling you conspiracy theories…..I’m telling you facts……Bill Gates held a pandemic SIMULATION event called Event 201 back in October 2019 that stimulated what would happen if a strand of the Corona Virus got released from CHINA….That is a fact!…..The Rockefeller foundation released a paper with 4 scenarios called Lock Step in 2010 that Laid Out an how A PANDEMIC could be used as an EXCUSE to Lock Down Society using MARSHAL LAW to take away people’s rights and bring in a Global Government……That is also a FACT!…..A record number of CEOs ( hundreds) from major companies stepped down right before the Corona Virus was released……That is ANOTHER Fact!

    4. @Georgia L Fine. You take it. Report how you get on and all the side effects and get your next of kin to post when you die.

  1. You have to be careful, as with every drug, but my son took it longtime for the autoimmune disease with no adverse effect. When you are at the death door, you will try anything to ameliorate the situation.

    1. @Ink & Pearls Thanks ink & pearls .. People are so one sided and only watch fake news cnn and MSNBC. I’ve. Benn on it for many years for RA.. Never had a side effect,.. God bless u and your family…

    2. @Soledad Cummings yes, thank you, my son is much better. All the best to you and to your loved ones. Let’s hope they find something to help those affected by the corona. And let’s hope people will find the way to get along with each other, the hate and insults don’t solve anything

  2. I’ve been on it for 30 years. Since the age of 12,for my lupus. No deadly side effects so far and I have 20/20 vision.

    1. @Joyce Pickett yeah i hope they have it for me, i cannot see my Doctor on the 13th of april, Pharmacy’s are out or Very low on it… i have all the symptoms plus i have a History of Bronchitis

    2. Not sure about the science back in 1999 started with hwy road crew ( the dog truck) in the summer always had a cold … BUT it’s warming up and put down gravel around the house it’s safer

    3. @Nonya Bizness You’re arguing with these idiots whose iq is lower than a snake’s balls… Nothing you say will penetrate their thick skull, they’ve got trump’s shrine in their bedroom.

  3. Every drug has side effects…just listen to any commercial on TV when they mention all the risks, and they’re not even for life-threatening conditions.

    1. @MrOgger151 my mom had that. it was some (known by the ENT specialist) esophageal reflux thing – manifests as hoarseness, too – that a drug causes. I can ask her what that was about if you want.

  4. Minions of the mainstream media be like, “I hope no drugs work on this virus so it makes the President look bad. “

    1. @Joey hey sweety, gonna save this post for November so I can come back to it, so that even with your cheating lying prez, loses despite the lying cheating Republicans that had to have Russian help last go round. See ya in November

    2. @William David That’s news to the Democratic politician. That’s news to the Bon Jovi member. That’s news to the “Bachelor” contestant. I’ll take their recovery and their testimony over your one claim.

    3. @John Bold My claim? I didn’t do the research. What’s the matter, reading comprehension is too weak to understand the articles? ‘Murica!

    4. @William David I mentioned people who were helped by the medication. If you have half a brain, you’ll look into their stories, moron.

    1. I mean not all side effects are created equal. Projectile-vomiting with consumption of alcohol is a lot different than mild nausea. Photosensitivity which can give you a massive sunburn which you are risk even when its cloudy is a lot different than cough. I’m not sure the side effects for this one but that blanket statement is 100% wrong.

    2. Linda Lai so likely you are allergic to some medications? you are the exception, not the typical patient.

    1. Steven V

You might as well gargle bleach. trump only pushes this because of his financial ties to the very company that manufactures this very drug. Its NOT based in any fact, its just self serving and potentially dangerous, thats why the responsible adults here do not endorse his nonsense. Needless to say he will be swamped with class action civil law suits if enough fools fall for this and suffer from the potential consequences – and needless to say, will try to shift the blame elsewhere much like he tries now after and while failing the country as a leader. He is what he is…

    2. Steven V There have been tests in France and Spain, it does not work! It can cause cardiac arrest, which is what happened. Two people who had covid were put on it they subsequently died.

    3. @Ganiscol Yes, there are always straight answers. This is more about nobody wanting to take any real responsibility for giving those straight answers.

    4. @61sasquatch The worst part is that they still don’t get it. The TDS is strong, and the common sense bus has departed. They now remind me of a horde of zombies from the walking dead.

  5. I’ll bet anyone that opposes the drug will be Screaming for it LOUDLY when they’ve got Covid 19! Doing this is criminal!

  6. If a patient is in a critical condition . Even if this drug has a percentage 1 in 1000 might help why not try?

    1. @Nil Saggu if only a small handful of patients have the size affect, it makes no sense to discontinue using the drug for everyone. In fact, you would want to keep using the drug and stop its use only on patients that are having reactions to it. Plus, it’s odds of helping are much higher, potentially almost 75% chance of increasing survivability bases off of the early data we have.

Plus the fact you called trump the orange baboon shows that you, like the media, do not care if the drug works or not or whether it save people. You just want trump to be wrong. You need to go to the doctor and get checked out for TDS (trump derangement syndrome). Common treatments are taking a red pill and fact checking the news when you watch it

    2. @Majilikin I don’t have time for idiots like you (most likely typing away from Africa while getting paid by Russians to fill up these boards with stupid comments.) Shooo…

  7. negative side effects vs dying how is that even a debate? Also there is side effects for every drug. THERE IS NOT A VACCINE OR CURE FOR ANY CORONAVIRUS TO DATE SINCE 1930

    1. If that is so then we human need to close down all school forever more. then we human need to stop have kids if, they want kids then they will need to do home schooling. Because coronal virus is a disease that will go on and on like hiv/AIDS where by anybody can catch coronal virus rapidly. Mabey this new world will just be wiped out with coronal virus. I live in Belize so their not mush happening here.

    2. Your assuming that it will work. For all we know it will just give them more symptoms on there way out to die. I mean if there in that dire situation sure but we can’t just go with the first therapy wholeheartedly just because of 1 study. I don’t know how the drug should work for COVID 19 because malaria is a parasite and COVID19 is a virus. But its not impossible it somehow works.

    3. Yeah in the fact that it takes 10 to 15 years create a vaccine if you look up back vaccine.org and how do we have one magically in 90 days if the government did not make this virus.

    4. @Joshua E they give babies and people vaccines and medications all the time without knowing how they will react to that person. This is also not a fix all it is to slow down the rate if possible to keep other people alive if it is helping why deny it. A few people having adverse effects shouldn’t stop the rest from taking it. Even still if they had a vaccine now they wouldn’t know how people would react to it plus there would be zero long term studies when this has been used for years for more then malaria that is just the main one.

  8. What about the people who have taken hydroxychloraquine in 2x the dose for DECADES, then that’s used to treat Covid-19 for 5-6 DAYS ???
    🛑MSNBC FEAR MONGERING PROPAGANDA 🛑

    1. There is not enough evidence to determine whether chloroquine is safe to be given to people aged 65 and older, overdose causes sleepiness, vision changes, seizures, stopping of breathing, and heart problems such as ventricular fibrillation and low blood pressure & a 20% death rate

    2. @Christopher Fair big disappointment for you it does work. The single real reason the curve of the virus changed and slows down because those who took it have no symptoms, the body developed its own antibodies and they don’t even need to be tested anymore beside they need to self-quarantine, because for a period of time they are still contagious. Things change fast.

    3. @waptek0 I took chloroquine for malaria 25 years ago before traveled to a place that had such issue, with a group of people. Most were above 60 for certain. No side effect no anything. The only thing that a person with heart condition couldn’t take and couldn’t come with the group. There are huge amount of studies. That medicine is very old. Also hydroxychloroquine is a lighter weaker version of that.

    1. @stable genius And let’s not forget: bloody urine, chest pain or discomfort, severe convulsions, difficult breathing, irregular heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, seizures, unusual bleeding and vomiting blood.
Oh, sorry! Those are the side effects of aspirin. Any more takers?

    2. @bwhip Low dose aspirin therapy in general dose not cause those side effects. There is hugh difference between the Rx. Please tell me you just googled an answer before researching it? Otherwise back to med school you go or just research. Expand your mind! Peered reviewed articles are advisable.

    3. @Donna Williams Sorry you didn’t understand. My point was, that many useful drugs have debilitating side effects, including aspirin (and I didn’t even mention Reye’s syndrome). Why did you bring up low-dose aspirin therapy? As far as I know, in my un-expanded mind, aspirin use isn’t limited to 80 mg/day as a blood thinner. The aspirin bottle in my hand states that you can take 3.9 *grams* a day–for 10 days. Sounds like the recipe for a bleeding ulcer to me.

Why didn’t you mention the side effects of short-term hydroxychloroquine use? Because there aren’t any? I’m talking short-term, as in 7-10 days, which is the typical COVID-19 treatment regimen. Quit attributing the side effects of long-term use of hyxroxychloroquine (for rheumatoid arthritis and lupus) to the short-term treatment of COVID-19.

      Here’s some research for you.

    4. @bwhip When Trump removes his shares for the drug I may look into it. The FDA and CDC are resources no longer crediable to use to in a paper to reference. Try peered reviewed medical journals within a five year publication i.e 2015 – 2020.

    5. @Donna Williams More tiresome junk, debunked. Even Snopes didn’t buy the “Trump, the hydroxychloroquine profiteer” canard.

      https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-profit-hydroxychloroquine/

“Trump’s financial stake in these companies is virtually negligible — contained indirectly via mutual funds — and administered through three family trusts he does not control. As a generic drug, hydroxychloroquine is unlikely to provide any one company with significant profits compared to other proprietary drugs.”

In the end, the real reason you don’t like treating COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine is because it’s effective, it’s being championed by President Trump and “Orange Man Bad!”

  9. I understand the drug has been effective in some cases, I’m not a doctor, however, I also heard one of the main side effects of Covid 19 is death.

    1. I mean if your in the hospital yes that is probable, but a main side effect no. Death is based on how good of an immune system you have.

  10. MSNBC pulls out Doogie Howser out of retirement to “warn” everyone about HCQ…because Orange Man bad.

    GTFOH LOL

    1. @Eloy Romero-Muñoz here then try these on for size:

and to top it off heres the FDA factsheet on Chloroquine and Coronavirus
      https://www.fda.gov/media/136536/download

also if you wanted to move past the whole “but muh FDA testing” , read this article (it’s not a journalist blurb so you might have to focus a bit more, sorry for your inconvenience)
      https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1232869/

      Trust the science?

    2. @SomeGuy ok. Seems like the FDA did issue an emergency authorizaion. My bad. Trump must have been pushing real hard…

    3. Sherry Mercado ..i took it 15 years ago for immune deficiency and almost killed me it caused me seven ulcers in my asophagas and stomach until now i stil have stomach issues because of it

    4. @Eloy Romero-Muñoz Sometimes we don’t have the luxury of a double blind study, especially during a pandemic. The hydroxychloroquine treatment for COVID-19 requires about a week. The chances of having adverse drug reactions are far outweighed by the benefits of getting to survive the virus.

    5. @Eloy Romero-Muñoz If you woke up tomorrow with a fever and were gasping for breath you’d be demanding hydroxychloroquine with your remaining breath, not spouting intellectually dishonest pedantry. BTW where is the evidence that invasive mechanical ventilation is safe and effective treatment for critically ill COVID-19 patients? Why is there no outcry over the use of invasive mechanical ventilation for critically ill COVID-19 patients, most of whom die?

  11. Brian Williams jumped on a grenade to bring you this report. He’s a hero. Don’t believe me? Just ask him.

  12. There are many people in the US and around the world saying…
    “Thank God for Hydroxychloroquine…I’m alive.”

    1. A Democratic politician says that. A Bon Jovi member says that. A “Bachelor” contestant says that. The CCP and their MSM can’t mute them.

  13. I saw a doctor from Africa say he has NEVER had 1 single patient die from using this drug, after decades of using it.
He said in small doses he hadn’t even seen many side effects.
Prolonged use or higher doses is when it is dangerous for your heart.
