  1. The RNC has no policies because Trump doesn’t. They are not interested in policy-making, they are interested in POWER and CONTROL. I am speechless over this. This is no convention–it is a lot of BS to celebrate the Supreme Leader. REALLY! Can’t Republicans see what they are doing? I am utterly utterly disgusted

  2. Well, if you want a representative government don’t support the GOP. They don’t represent America, they represent a racist, white-minority…

    1. Polly Ticks Eric (butthead) isn’t known for his intellect , he is just plain stupid! I guess he has heard others do it, and figured he would try it on for size! He doesn’t have a clue what the ramifications are. He is actually more stupid than his alleged brother, Beevis!

    2. @miguel rios persons of interest, father, sons, daughter, handcuffs

  3. If conservatives don’t want to be disregarded as dumb then they’ve got to meet us halfway and stop disregarding intellect as elitism. And if they don’t want to be disregarded as racists then they’ve got to stop tolerating other racist conservatives. It’s been memed for years: “not all trump supporters are racist but for no trump supporter was racism a deal breaker.”

    1. BOOM!!! I get so sick of hearing Republicans claim to be the party that freed the slaves. It was the same party in name only, it flies in the face of history because Southern “Democrats” who espoused the racist views became Republicans and have carried the party forward to this point, and their current behavior and inability to forcefully condemn and EXPEL the racism in their ranks shows how much this is an integral part of their platform. Abraham Lincoln would not recognize the Republican Party, much like Barry Goldwater didn’t recognize the Republican Party. Republicans only think intellect is elitism when Democrats are the ones with the intellect. They are more than happy to parade around their own “educated” members as exemplars of humanity, but if a Democrat has an education, they have been “brainwashed’ and are “brie-eating intellectuals out of touch with the common folk.” Unfortunately, Democrats bear a lot of the responsibility for allowing the situation to become as it has–this situation has been developing over the past 40 years, with the Republican Party being hijacked by the Evilgelical Right, and then weakened by feeding the “uneducated” among them all of this nonsense about anti-intellectualism, anti-political correctness (basically, anti-civility), pro-racist extremism, etc. Republican leadership has been PRIMING the underbelly of the country for a right-wing populist uprising. They got it. They found they couldn’t control it, though, so now people who were once semi-decent have completely gone rogue just to maintain some power. WE (Democrats) should have pushed back against this. It should have been obvious to everyone where this would lead.

    1. Just checked. RNC Convention drew SIX TIMES the viewers that the DNC Convention drew. Not TWO or THREE, but SIX times. The Yo-Yo demonstration on Americas Got Talent had higher ratings then the DNC (true story), so you probably see where this election is heading.

  4. They are no longer the GOP, they have become the ALT-right nationalist fascist party. They put Trump over America! 🇺🇸

    1. Trump has been saying he wants to officially change the name of the Republican Party to the Nationalist Zealotry Party, he’s just trying to come up with a catchy abbreviation.

  5. Forget the elephant. The symbol of the GOP should be an ostrich bent over with its head in the ground.

    1. It never did, most of what Joe said was a myth they love to tell themselves. The GOP was always heading this way since Johson. The “GOP” died with Lincoln and even that GOP was didn’t want to end slavery.

    2. If history mattered to Democrats they would end their party for all the slavery they supported and fought for.

    3. @Matt Thompson You still haven’t figured out that they are protesting because of Trump’s conduct. The BLM narrative is just the catalyst. Yes statistics don’t align with what is claimed. When did that ever stop Trump?

  6. tRump’s agenda is to become dictator of America…
    Republicans support tRump agenda…
tRump and Republicans are enemies of American democracy.
    Biden/Harris 2020!! 👏👏👏

  7. The GOP platform at this point is just a bunch of planks for them to walk off and jump overboard the sinking ship.

    1. A vote for trump is a straw on the camel’s back for the end of the world. He won’t stop with America, the world is in danger

    1. @Doreen Cloutier, it refers to silent befuddlement in the face of a direct challenge. You asked him for his sources, you got… the sound of crickets on a still night. Its been around a long time. Not regional. Many comedy routines use the actual sound effect to imply that the antagonist is incapable of response…

    2. @Everblue Freediving oh. Funny. I don’t use that one up here way way way up North. But now that you mention it I guess I’ve seen it some movies and such. Yeah he did not answer the question did he?

    3. @White Candle there are a few reasons why I watched, for one because there was a hurricane barreling straight for us. And another reason why I turned in I was curious to see what they would say and I want to see what they had to offer to see if I would vote for them just like we are supposed to do and just like an educated person and smart people do …..Most people don’t vote for someone just because of who they are, they vote for them because of their policies and what they believe in.
I mean this president has been in office for almost 4 years and he still hasn’t came up with anything to help Americans get better health care and better education i was raised Republican my dad voted for Trump.he gave him the benefit of the doubt, Also my dad passed away on January 31st 2018 he had a massive heart attack he needed open heart surgery. He did not have health insurance, he could not afford it. I believe that if my dad would have had health insurance he would still be alive to this day. and BTW my dad was not lazy, he worked his fingers to the Bone for what he had and paid his dues. He was 56 yrs old to young to die. But
Sadly Just like numerous other Americans. the only thing trump worries about is tweeting and getting the wall built, and tweeting about getting the wall built….. what he’s scrambling around right now right before election to hurry up and get some of it done and make it look like he’s done something during the last four years???? He’s so worried about a border wall and we have people dying in this country because they don’t have health insurance and cannot afford a doctor’s visit and something simple as a inhaler of all things to save their lives from asthma attacks. There are people dying in this country because of diabetes because they cannot afford their diabetic medication. It’s sad. Also The country was shut down, what in March? and for seven or eight months they couldn’t come together and figure out what they were going to do with the school children after summertime was over with during those seven or eight months they could have put their heads together and thought of putting partitions up over the teacher’s desk I mean HEB did it over night.. Soon as the country shutdown they had glass partitions protecting their cashiers so we could get groceries. He couldn’t even come up with a plan to put partitions up to protect students and teachers. He was too busy on social media tweeting dumb s*** to come up with any real action plan I’m just saying they’re leaving the Youth of this country behind. And it makes no sense to me because they are the most important to me they will be our future they are the future of America they are our future military a future teachers in future politicians whether Trump likes it or not

  8. The USA needs to look externally to learn from other countries who have gone through the same. Our last 9 years in South Africa are like a carbon copy of what you are going through. For the sake of the democratic system worldwide, we hope that you do not have another 4 years with the cult of personality as a guiding political principle….

    1. Or are still going through this. Check out Belarus right now battling for their freedom from a horrible dictatorhip for over a quarter of a century. Or Navalny, the Russian Freedom fighter, fighting for his life for a 2nd third time because of Putin’s attempts on his life. This is a fight for world democracy. America we need to save our Democracy now — we may not get a second chance.

  9. It is larger than a battle for the soul of America…it is a battle for the legitimacy of democracy as a viable system of society!!

    1. REALITY CHECK: usa is a republic, not a democracy. the constitution was written to open the door to becoming a democracy. That is why conservatives have attacking the constitution since its conception !!

  10. “They say I have the most loyal people … I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters.”
People who voted for the man who said that about THEM/their lack of morals deserve to be lumped together. You’ve not proven otherwise.

  11. Look back and you will realise this is how Hitler started, blame the Jews for all your problems he said. So sad.
