    1. @Latoya The officers messed up and didn’t restrain Floyd appropriately. Floyd messed up and was on fentanyl and methamphetamine, passed fake money, and refused to give back what he stole. No one is clean in this….

    2. L T he might have made a mistake but the point is he didn’t deserve the death penalty by those officers

    3. @Reg U Hidebeats is on topic. You are concerned because your police killed a black man. Your army killed more than 1.000.000 innocent Iraqis. Were were the protests?

    4. @NB FYI.
I am a concerned neighbour in Canada.
The topic is and was about today. Not about something that is now in the past.
      Please try and stay focused.
PS, You may want to try out spell check.
      Stay safe and healthy.

    5. You do know that everyone can pay bail to not wait in jail until your trial… right?

  1. he continued to kneel on his neck for 3-minutes *AFTER* they could no longer find a pulse. it shouldn’t be that difficult.

    1. @moniquemonicat There was no proof of that and the police found no counterfeit bills on George. The police didn’t have solid evidence to even arrest George. What about those officers prior criminal behavior. The cop that killed George should have been on the street.

    2. @ICU4life !!!! Someone saying they can’t breathe for 4 minutes, is a liar as they are breathing at the time. The autopsy of the family showed there wasn’t enough sustained pressure for postmortem tissue damage which would be found in strangulation. Please study autopsies from choking and asphyxiation deaths and stop reading tl;dr reports.

    3. 140 cities burned and we need a jury trial to aquit. This is what BLM has been protesting for a long time. Tone deaf means everthing must come down. Until congress feels it inside their neighborhoods, nothing will change. They do not care.

    1. @Drew Bari Take the personal rhetoric out of here. People have personal lives having nothing to do with their professional lives. If you are not there you don’t know. Chauvin wife walked out on him in two seconds flat….that says ALOT about him Stick to the subject matter-killer cops.

    2. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chauvin’s defense is insanity to get out of this one. Or he will say he was ordered to by someone else, Trump himself.

    3. @The Fishy Life ! these jokers going to prison. The union cant save them this time. Its one thing to use a gun, but another when you use your body. Rodney Jing lived, this dude died and it was seen by way too many not to mention, there is a damn good prosecutor.

    4. Exactly. He is already setting us up for failure. What attorney general does that. Be prepared for the “trick bag” . He sounds like he is for the cops. He is just another weak, cowardly politician, looking to elevate his career. Give me a break. Who leads with failure. This is appalling and despicable. He is expecting to fail.🤔

  2. Of course it’ll be difficult. There’s only audio and visual proof of them killing him.

    1. This really makes me feel like they are having us all get used to the thought these murderes will get off! Truly rediculous! What else do they want ? Video and sound is right there.

    2. NB idiot. If the cop hadn’t kneeled on his neck Floyd never would have a had a heart attack.

    1. Barbara Peller They think that they can pacify their citizens with false promises whenever they feel it’s not necessary to uphold the laws to everyone, including dirty cops.

    2. Gary Rumain Even if your claims were valid, in this country you are supposed to be prosecuted and tried in our court systems. You are not supposed to be tried, found guilty on false allegations about a currency, and then slowly strangled to death on the street by a cop who smugly and calmly takes your life. That is not legal in this country. And the former cop has clearly killed before, that’s why his hands were pressing down on his legs, as he thought he would get away with it again. That’s not how the legal system works, in this country.

    1. Manslaughter maybe. But not Murder 1, or Murder 2 IMO. Might be able to stick Murder 3. Dunno

    2. The camera did not show him resisting being put in the squad car, I am not saying that it was OK for the excessive force, I’m saying they did not show the whole thing, plus he probably would still be alive if he did not resist, Police do need better training but I also understand, how difficult it is to hold a person against his will. I saw a video of five policemen trying to subdue one overweight woman.

    3. @eogg25 The camera did not show also that the victim did not die from asphixiation. He died from a heart attack and he had traces of drugs in his system that are known for causing breath problems.

    1. Mel K, this is some bull—! This is a joke and I am not laughing are they serious right now? Why are police above the law, why doesn’t the constitution abide to everyone, “JUSTICE FOR ALL” where is George’s justice for his LIFE!

    2. I may have misheard it the other day. I thought they both carried possibly 25 years but I’m seeing conflicting info at the moment.

    3. I thought so too. I’m confused now. So what was the maximum sentence for 3rd degree murder then?

  3. If this was a civilian they would already have a needle in their arm. This is pathetic and exactly why police reform needs to happen

    1. Only mass murderers edited to include perpetrators of especially heinous crimes… ever get a death sentence… & still highly unlikely they even get a needle…. Facts matter!! 😆

    1. They will need to create a jury of people who haven’t seen the video or even heard about the case to ensure no bias. That’s the hard part.

    2. If you know anything about court cases then you would know with officers they will always have the best defence so the case has to rock solid to put them away. You can’t just say look the video let’s get them charged as that defence team could pick holes in the case which could result in lesser charges or beating it.

    1. You really think this is going to go to trial before the next election? Every single elected official that represents Minneapolis constituentsom from city council to Mayor to county attorney to State House and Senate Representatives to US Representatives and State attorney general has been a Democrat going back to the 70s. If these four officers go to trial before the next election and if there is anything but a conviction for all officers on all accounts then you will see the real riots and every single one of them will be voted out. They’re not going to take that chance. they are just buying time until they can prepare for the real riots when the acquittals come.

  4. They’ve only had 24 hours to find out about David Dorn. Give them time.
They’ve got to think about it, to figure out if it’s better for them to cover it or not cover it.
