Caught on camera: Truck plunges off Wisconsin overpass

A driver is lucky to be alive after losing control of his vehicle and plunging 20 metres off an overpass in Wisconsin.

The accident was captured by a highway traffic camera.

  1. That happened in Saskatoon a couple years ago with a small car although it didn’t go all the way over. Now on a go forward basis the snow must be completely cleared from all bridges and over passes to prevent this from ever happening again. Wisconsin take note.

    1. @R A Sorry I wasn’t blaming the highway workers. Of course it is driving too fast for road conditions but if you remove the snow banks the walls of the bridges or overpasses work as designed instead of being a ramp. That was my point.

  2. I guess it doesn’t help that the city/snowplow trucks have made a hard packed frozen ramp on the shoulder of the bridge
