  1. Chauvin is within his rights to remain silent. In fact, almost ALL defense attorneys will recommend their client not take the stand. So I’m not surprised at his choice.

    1. @Paul Tierney yes you are correct but is also the client also has a chance to change his mind

    2. Yes he is within is right to stay silent , only wish he had stayed come and took his knee off of the human man neck and the human lived

    3. @animation and news Evil wins when good people do nothing. That is the point. Just because it is hard, does not make it futile. I’m under no illusions that it will be easy. Seriously, we have been battling this issue since slavery began, the world over. But change does not happen without effort. As my father once said to me: You can be part of the solution, or part of the problem. Which do you choose?

  2. I’m sorry , but if you shoot someone dead because you are afraid of being shot , DO NOT BECOME A POLICE OFFICER !

  3. I would like to see what happens in the same situation, in a rich white area. I bet you the police would ask if he’s out jogging or needs a ride home.

    1. No, they’ll stop him and ask what he’s doing there on the assumption he’s casing some houses to burglarize later on.

  4. “Don’t fire unless fired upon. But, if they want to have a war, let it begin here.” – John Parker

    1. @TheChonaman I’ll just assume you didn’t watch the video. The first half of it is on police shooting two people, one 13 year old, where the police engaged first.

I understand you’re probably on a side of the political spectrum at war with the other, given your channel, but I’m a vet whose also fired a wide array of firearms, supports the second amendment to a responsible degree, and thinks policing isn’t a dangerous job if you shoot every time you get spooked.

    2. @Derek Lemon Thanks for the follow-up. It’s good to know you’re not a bot! I did watch the video. I actually re-watched it moments ago to be sure I didn’t miss anything. Your views (as you’ve expressed above) seem similar to my own.

I posted another comment on this video which you may not have seen: *”It’s staggering to see how pro-gun-sites insist on protecting their “rights” while innocent, ordinary people die for no justifiable reason whatsoever. This is not okay, Americans.”*

I understand the historical context of your Parker quote. IMHO it’s a stretch to compare police shootings to wartime firearm use, but philosophically it is a rule of engagement standard that cops should take to heart. In my view, there are a lot of scared cops out there who are definitively in the wrong line of work. Give cowards a badge, a loaded gun, and a virtual pre-emptive pardon for mistakes they are likely to make, and well, bad things are going to happen.

    3. @TheChonaman good to hear. But why would you expect wartime firearm discipline to be a higher standard that domestic policing? Stating it’s a stretch to compare.

To be frank this isn’t current military policy either, but an admirable disciplined quote that may have never even been said.

  5. What’s going on in the US… It’s like a war zone in the mind of these cops. They seem insane 😳

    1. USA thinks it is a clever idea to allow its citizens to arm themselves with anti-personnel firearms.
Then they spend decade after decade wringing their hands about gun violence and mopping up the blood.
      Very slow learners.

  6. Then again I am frankly astonished that when Daunte’s Aunt produces the depiction of the Taser, how MUCH it resembles a gun.

  7. Three simple tips on how to increase your chances of survival if you encounter one or more cops.
    1. If you see a cop slam yourself immediatly to the ground. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve done something wrong or not.
    2. Don’t make any sound. Shut your mouth. Close your eyes. Don’t make a single move. Turn into a dead possum.
    3. Pray. If you’re not religious, pray anyway. You can use all the help you can get to survive this.
    Good luck citizen.
