    1. Blame your… I mean corporate… representatives. No relief but rest assured liability is front and center. Shows exactly who they represent… and it ain’t you.

    2. It’s hard to imagine the so called richest country in world has the worst economic response to this pandemic and more – the lack of health care response compared to the rest of the world! Lack of leadership and peoples inability to accept the truth about it! We’re always told America has the best scientists- the best brains – the best of everything- yet they have the worst response!

  1. This is rediculuos. We can’t allow people to be treated this way. This is not right. Stop this corruptness in america now. It can’t wait any longer

    1. @it’s negan People think 2020 was bad… I’m ready for 2021 My new found friend. Let’s pop some corn n watch our country/earth turn to sh!t…

    2. @it’s negan and @Jay M … actually, a lot of the money the banks loan out is OUR money. The money that we deposit into Savings accounts. Our money goes in and they “borrow” it to hand out loans, hence the reason we get interest rates on our Savings accounts. I’m not saying that all of the money comes from that, but a good portion does. The rest is called “blue money”… the money that’s on paper but not really MONEY. More like “promisary notes”. But some of it is OUR money from savings accounts and is the reason that if you have thousands in your savings account, it’s not always possible to just walk into your bank and say “I want all my money…right now”. They have to have time to shuffle it around and get it back. Usually within 12-24 hrs (longer if it’s hundreds of thousands or more).

Blue Money is exactly why we have trillions of dollars in deficit in this country… we’ve WAY out-spent our national reserves and without the gold to back it up in Ft Knox they “create” this blue money to pay for things on paper only (without any real cash exchanging hands).

I also agree with you and Jay… it’s very nice to have a meaningful discussion without name-calling and …politics. Thank you both!

    3. @Amy Davis you are sorta right but also a little off too because all the money you put in the savings is also from thin air because of the big money the bank gets from the federal reserve. And as for the promissory notes, those are given from the bank to the reserve for the dollars that they received.

    4. @Jay M Oh and btw… here’s the REAL kicker about the vaccines… I think they are planning to give it to our healthcare, government workers and the elderly first. So guess who will be the first to die if the vaccines proves unsafe? Yeah. Hello, schitt’s creek… where’s my paddle?

  2. The world: “Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege.”
    republicans: “WRONG!”
Healthcare corporations: “Yeah, what they said.”
    America: 🤷🤦

    1. @William H Funny thing that… I was going to say the same thing about you…
Mitch McConnell (ON VIDEO IN A SPEECH WHERE HE, HIMSELF IS SPEAKING, SO THERE ISN’T ANY DOUBT ITS A REALITY) is worried about the big corps getting ‘sued’ by people who get hurt whilst on the job IF they are working in unsafe conditions and HE wants to change the rules, overturn that safety law to protect those big corps…BECAUSE he can’t get that, he’s stalling the whole thing… Go and check it out for yourself instead of just reading about it from your own news sources which only give you what you want to hear… because it serves them to do so

    2. @snowflake killer You mean your fellow citizens. A true patriot would be horrified rather than seeking political points. But we know exactly what you are. Keep up the window licking and breathe deep. Remember it’s all a hoax….

    3. Healthcare in this country has been a mess for a very long time. This country needs national healthcare care. I’m tired of insurance companies and big corporations telling us what we want and need.

  3. Senate cannot’ approve single penny for the people, without handing Money to their MAGA Master’s. Whey every Bill has to have attachment ? Wake up, Wake up America.

    1. @Bryan Sin Democrats accepted Trump dude… Trump and the Republicans are the one making up “vOtEr frAuD” stories Losing 50 cases in court and afraid to call Joe Biden president elect

    2. @Bryan Sin lol thats cute…. Comparing a president to a mayor…. Trump runs an entire country with 300k Covid deaths dude…. while insulting masks and doctors.

    3. @Bryan Sin she’s ONLY the mayor and has limited capabilities. I believe that hospital is ran by the Federal government or the State government, which mean the Governor

  4. Give the hospital to the people and let nonprofit organization operate the people’s hospital future endeavors.

    1. Doesn’t work that way, even if it could be sold, it would have.. those hospital simply doesn’t have enough donation. Hospital works on professional and medication and those are expensive.. if they had an option they would have taken it for sure.

    2. Even many “3rd-World” counties, like Thailand, have universal care.

Moreover, according to the US National Library of Medicine – National Institutes of Health, Thailand is the #1 destination for medical tourism.

There is only *ONE* “developed” nation on Earth that does not have some kind of single-payer, universal health coverage. Guess what one?
So, you have to ask, can we really be classified as a “developed” nation?

  5. Rich country not looking out for the minority… better read up on how Rome fell… Poorly treat your citizens.. you will not continue to be a great country

    1. I immediately got a health card when I moved to Winnipeg, Canada.
I have come back to the states pre pandemic. In all my jobs I only had medical insurance in 1997.

    2. Yes, the America healthcare system is based on money and profits not health and lives. This is the result of not having universal healthcare and hospitals for all.

    3. Yes. It literally says: “wealth is the determining factor when it comes to who receives medical care.” I suggest you study up on current medical billing practices in the USA.

    1. Ikr…… Closing a Hospital during the WORST Pandemic seen in a HUNDRED yrs….makes sense ( NOT) !!🤔🤷🤦😠

    2. @Josh Court Oh DEFINITELY !! NOT only THAT…..you get SICK you’re NOT gonna get the SAME treatment as the ROT in the WHITE HOUSE !! OUR lives are EXPENDABLE ( according to THEM) !!!🤔🤷🤦😠

    3. @Terry Hawk and yet people pay their taxes while knowing they’re not represented… our forefathers bled for nothing.

    1. Yes, Trump is after our black Americans was after the Jews!!! Trump and these republicans are not straight from Satin.

    2. Or local hospital is about to shut down (already slashed ER staffing, and closed down maternity ward). And this is in predominantly poor white rural area. So white racial genocide too, or maybe just poor and low middle class genocide?

    3. @Betsy Bird yet it’s the Dems that want all the black communities to get the vaccine first.lol. you gotta get it right man… Look up ivermectine and save yourself

  6. Closing down Hospitals at the Height of a Pandemic is just Planned Genocide. Just another form of Republican Voter suppression .

  7. Finding money for travel to hospital is a huge challenge when a budget is stretched to capacity. So so sad and so unfair.

    1. @Josh Court You are making my point. Shouldn’t our democrat controlled progressive communities be beacons of hope for the minority populations? Shouldn’t we stress education as a top priority and demand excellent out of our minority populations? After all, education is the key to their future. Education does it need to be scholarly or scholastic in nature. It can be technical education, education in the trades. Shouldn’t our democrat controlled progressive communities stress education to the minority population?
Shouldn’t our democrat controlled progressive communities stress employment? Shouldn’t we offer incentives to business to increase their capacity is so that they can hire more people out of our progressive communities?
Shouldn’t our democrat controlled progressive communities champion family values? Shouldn’t we champion the strength of the family? Do you study was done many years ago proving that college educated black married males and females will have a higher income than non-black couples.
Shouldn’t or democrat controlled progressive communities offer hope to our minority populations so they can strive to be anything they want to be within their ability and their limits?
Or democrat controlled progressive community should do all of the above but we don’t. Yet, For some reason the minority populations keep building us back into power.

    2. @T. R. Campbell Didn’t make your point at all. Seems you are looking at everything with one eye open. I have yet to see a source from you just redundant questioning with no foresight into how the for profit systems of human basic necessities work to extract from the poorest of communities nor answers on how to change said problems. Partisans always try to fit the world into their little box… expand your research and try to stay objective.

    3. @Josh Court I think I made my point very well and the source I used was the story that was published on MS NBC. The story made several points. 1) This latest hospital is one of several that have been closed on the South side , by the city of Chicago. I suppose I could find a link about the southside of Chicago being a killing Ground. The weekly death toll of infants, toddlers, teens, and adults rival mini war zones. I believe this is common knowledge if one page attention to the news.
      2) I mentioned the Indian healthcare hospitals closing in South Dakota. Here is a link to that https://www.wsj.com/articles/indian-health-service-to-close-more-services-at-south-dakota-hospital-1501279019
3). I mentioned the ACA. I don’t think I should have to supply a link to that system. The ACA was intended to assist Americans with their health insurance needs. Sadly though it was sold to the American public on a lie (you can keep your doctor you can keep your health insurance if you want) and we all remember the MIT professor Gruber who advise President Obama stating that Americans are stupid if they believe somebody else is going to pay for their healthcare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Adrdmmh7bMo
I believe I am very correct because we can see the failure of government run health insurance. We side early on during the Obama administration with the veterans administration and all the vets dying while standing in line for treatment. We sought in South Dakota, we sought with the ACA, and now we see it in Chicago. We see the most vulnerable people being taken advantage of and pushed around by our most progressive Democrat controlled cities. We have met the enemy and he is us. Thank you for your post.

  8. “Hospital not profitable enough” that is what’s wrong with healthcare in America. Healthcare should be free and a birth right.

    1. Get money out of politics and have ranked choice voting and you’d see a change… until then… those are just pipe dreams.

    2. Who should pay for it?.Maybe take the money from EBT and section 8 housing..why should food and a home be free?..

    3. Nothing in life is free. But you are right and there ought to be a national care system that is paid out of taxes. It’s about choice you either care for people’s lives or put a man on the moon. America is broken. It doesn’t care about ordinary people the American dream is a nightmare for most especially the poor and people of color.
