****MEDIA FAIL**** — MSNBC only tells us half the story on the Chief Justice presiding over impeachment. Yes, we understand the rules give all the power to Senators on how to conduct the trial, but what MSNBC leaves out is that any Senators seeking to subvert justice would be making the Chief Justice complicit in turning a very important legal proceeding into nothing more than a kangaroo circus. Any Chief Justice worth his salt will put a stop to such nonsense, or let those partisans seeking to subvert justice know that they will pay a heavy price.
Will the Chief Justice sell out the Constitution for partisan purpose? Will Republicans Senators look to alienate the Chief Justice, who is their vital swing vote on the SCOTUS? Or, will they FINALLY conclude that their efforts gaslighting, covering-up, and protecting a lawless, sociopathic President are far more damaging to them and the GOP? Because in the end, the Chief Justice and those Republican Senators are just as much on trial before the American people as is Trump. These are the questions the media should be asking, the points the media should be stressing to inform the public. Media BE better, WE be better!
