Chris Hayes Podcast with Alexander Vindman | Why Is This Happening? – Ep 174 | MSNBC

Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman has seen (and heard) a great deal in his experiences in public service. He became a household name as a key witness in Donald Trump’s impeachment hearings in 2019. His memoir out August 2021, "Here, Right Matters: An American Story," shares insight into the lead up and events following the infamous call at the center of the trial between former U.S. President Trump and Ukrainian president Zelensky. Vindman joins to discuss that, immigrating to the US, serving in the military, his take on global relations, and what’s next for him.

  1. The most patriotic moment of my life was being in formation overseas as 6 of my fellow soldiers took their oath of citizenship. Let immigrants be proud to be American. I will be grateful to be American.

  2. This is a really important voice to give an open mic… too bad this podcast has an ad every few moments, making it difficult to focus on what he had to say.

  3. Lieutenant Colonel, you have the thing that Trump has always wanted more than anything. The approval of you father. You are a good man.

  4. LCol Vindman deserved better from his country. He and his brother are two of our best! Hope more of us can follow their stellar example.

  5. WOW 😳 WOW 😳 FULL FORENSIC AUDIT IN ALL 50 STATES IS THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM THE SOCIALISM!

  6. Great show, great interview. I have total respect for Col. Vindman he is a true American hero, I hope he gets the recognition that he deserves.
