Chris Hayes Podcast With Carl Bergstrom | Why Is This Happening? – Ep 105 | MSNBC

There are still more questions than answers about COVID-19. While the impacts of the virus are felt in every corner of human life, there’s a desire to find a neat and clean explanation for how things got to this point. This search for causality creates an environment ripe for the spread of misinformation – conspiracy theories, premature conclusions, incomplete data- and it’s crucial to learn how to think critically about the stories being told. We invited biology professor Carl Bergstrom, author of the forthcoming book “Calling B******t: The Art of Skepticism in a Data-Driven World”, to talk about what we do and don’t know, what the experts are debating over, and what it means to have the first ever quarantine in the age of the internet. 1. Chris Hayes and Richard Madcow will be crying on each other’s jocks when Creepy Sleepy Joe loses.

  2. Chris Hayes admitted that the Russia conspiracy was a complete lie. At least someone from the democratic party is man enough to tell the truth.

  3. The GOP just flipped a seat won by a far left progressive not even 2 years ago in California, and not only won but the Democrat conceded long before most of the votes were even counted. Oh boy Nov is gonna be a bloodbath, worse than the defeat the left suffered in the UK election last year. Hope they prepare themselves so they don’t freakout again like last time.

  4. Animals can and do sometimes lie. Dogs have been known to lie and there are plenty of videos around demonstrating this and I have personally experienced this with one of my dogs. Also, Penny Patterson who did years of studies on using sign language to communicate with Koko the gorilla, said that Koko would sometimes lie to her.
