  1. All while Atlanta mayor mandated one and then Kemp comes out and says he’s signing an order where no Mayor can do this.. Really GA, he cares about you while your cases are rising and will be up with her in Florida?? That could be your family member that dies over your stupidity.. A mother here in Ft.Lauderdale lost both of her children within 11 days of each other and they had no symptoms until it was too late!!

    1. Your two child story: a 20yo and a 23yo both morbidly obese. It is sad that two of God’s children died like that and let theirs be a tale of caution… gut health is where your immune system starts. Even doing a (health cleanse) can deplete your body’s defenses during a pandemic or cold and flu season

  2. #ALGovenor – ty for the trustworthy brief. And that your community trusts you is a #BrightSpot.

  3. Glad to see leaders who can see the data, think ahead and make smart decisions to save lives.

  4. two words – black sharpy.
i expect numbers to come down from the whitehouse with a realist number which has been crossed out with black sharpy and a big circle around a much lower “great” number.

  5. Was this so hard? Seriously, why did something from a health and life saving perspective turn political?!

  6. Why has the wearing of a mask become political or even a question? When this first started in March, albeit late, my 1st thought was I need to protect all that I come in intact with. And I’m almost 60, with a very strong immune system and look like I’m 40.. lmfao. It’s about others

    1. Michael Fitzgerald No, you are not. Your oxygen level does not change at all. Watch the doctors. They’re doing videos to show us the real truth.

    2. @Michael Fitzgerald how come Drs wear masks everyday for years and nothing happens to them. That is really a crazy thing to say. You people that don’t wear masks are totally selfish. I guess people should drink and drive because that is their choice.

  7. Well done this Mayor!Obviously, he got an education and can think for himself – something sadly lacking amongst many of his white counterparts on America’s sun belt.

  8. thank you mayor, a clear message, good decisive action , unlike the “clear and present danger” in the WH

  9. I don’t think it’s too complicated to control covid19 you just have to get everybody moving in the same direction!
Mayor Reed must know this and is doing a good job of it!

  10. America had all the pain of the Lockdown, but none of the payoff, because of trump, “politicising,” Covid, when no other country did. Trump undermined the Lockdown, undermined America, at every step. Mass unemployment, economic downturn, rising deaths. Every developed country had that, but Europe is coming out the other end. We’re still in free fall . . .

  11. Every sensible measure to protect LIVES, Donny takes it as a personal attack on him! That’s insane. And that’s WHY we had all the pain and none of the gain, from the Lockdown.

  12. The Divided States of America will have C19 for years to come….until state borders are closed..and noone travels to or into another state without negative tests and 14 day quarantine. NZ has had no transmitted C19 cases in the past 70 days….following this recipe. Plus tracing, tracking, isolation, treatment.

    1. Kiwi Hawkins Here in Scotland, we copied NZ almost exactly and we’ve had no deaths in a fortnight and no new cases this week.

  13. Those city councillors who initially voted against the mask policy should be voted out of office. I can’t prove it but I’ve got a hunch that they’re Republicans…

    1. Matthew Lewis it was a tied vote that killed it and now all but one of the city council members have changed their mind. The mandate was reintroduced and passed Tuesday
