Civil disobedience continues across the country over George Floyd’s death, Wednesday | USA TODAY

Demonstrations on Wednesday were largely peaceful, much like Tuesday, and in contrast with Monday's military and law enforcement show of force, in Washington D.C., where demonstrators were cleared from an area around a park near the White House in a show of force by authorities to clear a path for President Trump and advisors to have a photo opportunity from an historic church on Lafayette Square.

Minneapolis and other U.S. cities brace for more heated demonstrations after protesters and police across the nation continue to clash in the wake of George Floyd's death.

More than 6,000 arrests have been made at demonstrations nationwide since video emerged showing former Minneapolis Officer Derek Chauvin holding his knee to Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes. On Monday, President Donald Trump chastised governors for failing to halt the looting, vandalism and violence.

    1. @Nicholas White so the police needs to get out there and pursue the looters stop standing around staring at peaceful protesters. Feelings isnt law, they can’t force a curfew on us to meet there own agenda. It’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

    2. @BotchlaUS They won’t shut down the agitators because upholding the law is tantamount to “white supremacy” in the eyes of these people and the gutless, spineless leaders who incite divisiveness.

    3. @BotchlaUS

    2. @Etalis They that riot are wanted by the FBI. Right now states have 51 domestic terrorist that have charges by the state, the FBI and the US Marshals office.

    1. Apparently you’ve been sleeping for six days or you’re blind.. or in denial which is really an ego problem.

    2. Three groups or more are active: #1 Real Civil Rights Protesters (peaceful & good) #2 Opportunistic Looters and Criminals (Vandalism) #3 Insurrectionists & Anarchists (Violence & Assaults ) The Good people are peaceful and marching, but when they go home, the bad actors – from out of town – they are bringing the crime and violence.

    1. @Quantum Karma It’s the culture of victimhood! They embrace it as if nothing is their fault and life happens to them and not because of them. Complete and total disempowerment!

    2. @lana lake It’s the logical conclusion of determinism, no one is responsible for anything because everything is predetermined, ask the Calvinists.

    3. @PAUL ROLLINGS I posted independently prior to seeing your post, but I think you are close to being exactly right. To take your point a bit farther I just don’t think people actually understand what civil disobedience is as far as the definition! Civil disobedience in this context, in my opinion, would be going about your regulat business WHILE ignoring the curfew. Go bowling as planned, bike in the park etc. That has a much bigger impact if one sees the laws as unjust. A widespread disregard while maintaining other law and order! Good assessment on your part!

    4. @Anonymous one Well, I had a slight advantage. Here within the UK the British tabloids have used similar headlines when highlighting how many people were disregarding the lock down in the light of the George Floyd case due to many people leaving their homes and partaking in peaceful protests in support.

    1. @Scott Kain if youre an adult you will take your own protections, i guess youre one of these self serving morons who blames the Govt for everything.

    2. @WASWE lol I’m Not blaming the Govt for anything. I’m simply stating that just a week ago, the Media was telling us that we should stay home as much as possible because Covid-19 was gonna kill a lot more of us and overwhelm the healthcare system. Now all of a sudden they are encouraging thousands of people to gather together in large groups all over America to protest and riot. So which one is it? Which one should we do?

    1. @humanze Trump lowered black unemployment to an All Time Low. He also passed legislation to create “Opportunity Zones” to drive investment to poor black urban areas.
On top of that, he passed legislation to give incarcerated men+women a second chance by granting them early release, which even the MSM Trump haters said was a great thing.
Trump has only been in office for 3 years. The Democrats have had over 40 years of non-stop control over many major cities, where black poverty+unemployment only got worse+worse as the years went on.
The Dems signature line during every election has been “my opponent is a racist, so elect me… I care about black people”. Year after year, decade after decade, the same line… and after decades of the same Dems in those offices, nothing changed.
Obama said “You would need a magic wand to bring manufacturing back to the US”. Funny that many black people worked in manufacturing jobs before they were all outsourced (outsourced by the NWO controlled Dems+Rhino Republicans). Trump brought back manufacturing with a vengeance…then China released covid19 out to the world.
Trump will restart the economy, but the MSM and NWO controlled leaders (on both sides of the aisle) continue to divide people down racial lines, which has created rioting, looting, and chaos in the streets. Rioting, looting, and burning down their own neighborhoods does nothing to help the black community, yet the MSM+NWO controlled leaders encourage it…think about that.

Before covid19 hit, black people as a whole were doing better than they were in a long time… black unemployment at all time lows, and national polls showed racism was at all time lows…. then covid19 was released… then the MSM+NWO minions endorsed chaos.
I’m just glad that the black community (including BLM) realized that Antifa, the George Soros funded group, was attempting to use them to further their own goals. Now that’s a real attempt of a group of white people trying to screw over the black community.

  1. “Black lives matter”; “All lives matter”; and don’t forget “Unborn lives matter” too❗️

  2. it looks like people just wanted to socialize after covid but didnt have enough money and went on the streets

  3. Protests and civil disobedience are understandable, even beneficial, and have always been with us in the U.S.. Their validity ends when violence and property destruction begins. If you attack a building, person in uniform, or another citizen, you are no longer a protester; you are a rioter. Use words and votes to bring change.

    1. in 1976, Gerald Ford won 15 percent of the black vote. That’s the most of any recent Republican presidential candidate. In most elections, blacks give Democrats over 90 percent of their votes. It’s not unreasonable to ask what have blacks gained from such unquestioning loyalty to the Democratic Party. After all, the absolute worst public safety conditions and other urban amenities for blacks are in cities that have been controlled by Democrats for decades. Let’s look at it. What cities are the deadliest for blacks? The Trace, an independent nonprofit news organization, answers that question. Using 2017 data from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting program, The Trace listed the 20 major U.S. cities with the highest homicide rates — factoring in both the number of people murdered in cities and their populations. Chicago, with 589 murders in 2018 — one murder every 15 hours.2017, St. Louis had the nation’s highest murder rate, at 66.1 homicides per 100,000 residents. Baltimore came in second, with 55.8 murders per 100,000 people. Detroit was third, with 39.8 murders per 100,000 people. Other cities with high murder rates included New Orleans; Kansas City, Missouri; Cleveland; Memphis, Tennessee; and Newark, New Jersey. With 24.1 murders per 100,000 residents, Chicago ranked ninth in the nation. It was followed by Cincinnati and Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., was 17th.
Now here’s the kicker. Of the 20 most dangerous major cities, all but one had a Democratic mayor. In many of these cities, the Democratic Party has ruled for a half-century or more.

    1. For Profit Prisons are USA’s modern Slave Labor Prison Camps… Workers kept in cages, laboring for $0.60 cents an hour… That’s um, very BAD !
Remember the 13th Amendment LEGALIZED State Owned Slavery in America: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
Federally owned slaves, and State Owned Slaves, work in the For – Profit prison labor camps of USA. Judges have even been convicted of allegedly SELLING CHILDREN to prisons, for kickback money, paid per slave sent to the prison:

The convicted individuals were sentenced to 28 years in prison and ordered to pay $1.17 million in restitution :
www csmonitor com USA Justice 2011 0811 Kids-for-cash-judge-sentenced-to-28-years-for-racketeering-scheme#:~:text=A%20former%20juvenile%20court%20judge,pay%20%241.17%20million%20in%20restitution.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court directed that all 4,000 children’s convictions be vacated and their records expunged.

This was the worse exposure of the Government’s Public – school to Prison pipeline feeding children into the legal system, and a life time of indentured servitude.

    1. They Globalists launched this insurrection revolution to block the news of the investigation of the Obama Administration funding of Wuhan Labs and CCP corona virus.

    2. Oh you mean how they gave 3 mil in support to Wuhan because they didn’t want the lab testing CV here in NC? Hell Dr Fauchi supervised the original Bat Virus test in Wuhan himself. Funny they haven’t mentioned it on mainstream media huh?

    3. Picture abhi baki hai…..
      Carrona :- see u in hospital after 15 days🤣

    4. @Nemesis One Everybody forgot about Corona..Just wait for it..
As in 14 days & see what happens then..may be a spike of infections

  4. USA Today’s new definition of peaceful protest: looting, arson, anarchy, vandalism… It’s really kinda new… lol
