    1. Low energy Joe Biden?
      I’d rather have a low energy candidate than a DRUG ADDICTED RUSSIAN AGENT AS FAKE PRESIDENT..
      TRUMP MEDICAL RECORDS SHOW WORRISOME ADDICTION TO DRUGS —
      During the campaign, Trump released a letter from Dr. Harold Bornstein stating that he had been the then- candidate’s physician since 1980 and that there had been no significant medical problems throughout that time. The letter did not reveal that Trump had a second doctor during that time who had diagnosed him with a potentially serious condition.

      The medical records and interviews with former officials with the Trump Organization reveal that Greenberg gave Trump a prescription for amphetamine derivatives in 1982 to treat his metabolic problem; the records show that Trump continued taking the drugs for a number of years and the former officials said that Trump stopped using them in 1990 at the latest.

      The derivatives were diethylpropion, known under its brand name as tenuate dospan. These drugs are designed for short-term use; studies have concluded that patients can avoid developing a dependence on the drug if they take it for 25 weeks or less. But Trump continued downing the pills for years.

      According to two people -someone who said Trump would consider him a friend and a former Trump executive – the then-real estate developer boasted that the diethylpropion gave him enormous energy and helped him concentrate. A former Trump executive claimed to have picked up the medication while running errands for the boss. This person said the prescription, for 75 milligrams of diethylpropion a day, was filled at least for a time at a Duane Reade drugstore on 57th Street in Manhattan, a few blocks from Trump Tower. The executive said, like many celebrities, TRUMP USED AN ALIAS FOR THE PRESCRIPTION.

      ~~~ ACCORDING TO THE TOXICOLOGY DATA NETWORK AT THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH, DIETHYLPROPPION HAS A HIGH RISK OF DEPENDENCY AND CHRONIC ABUSE- SUCH AS TAKING IT FOR YEARS– CAN CAUSE DELUSIONS, PARANOIA, AND HYPERACTIVITY. STUDIES IN MEDICAL JOURNALS ALSO REPORT IT CAN RESULT SLEEPLESSNESS AND IMPULSE CONTROL PROBLEMS, CHARACTERISTICS
      TRUMP DEMONSTRATED THROUGHOUT THE CAMPAIGN AND THE WEEKS SINCE HIS INAUGURATION.
    1. Good luck with that loser😂 I think it’s safe to say you’ll be a big fat 0 / 2 in the last two general elections😅
    1. @Margaret Nicol In my lifetime, in every election since about 1968 democrats have said that republicans will take away all benefits but life kept getting better and social programs always got larger. You know this— same line sooooooo old…
    2. @Byron Young Don’t be so self centred. Look around you more. He’s in court at the moment fighting to remove more benefits.
    3. @Byron Young ”Less than two months after signing massive tax cuts that largely benefit those at the top of the economic ladder, President Trump has put forward a 2019 budget that cuts basic assistance that millions of families struggling to get by need to help pay the rent, put food on the table, and get health care. The cuts would affect a broad range of low- and moderate-income people, including parents, children, seniors, and people with disabilities. Taken together, the cuts are far deeper than any ever enacted and would deepen poverty and hardship and swell the ranks of the uninsured.
      This paper examines the budget’s cuts in health care, food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamps), housing and home energy assistance, income assistance for people with disabilities, funding to states for other supports for low-income families, grants and loans to make college more affordable, and non-defense discretionary programs as a whole.” Center on Budget and Policy Priorities
    4. @shkspr78 s Doesn’t take much to be on the other side. One accident and you could be needing disability benefits. Lose your job and you could need other health benefits as well as food stamps. Don’t get too smug in case change is just round the corner. Just for info – never not worked but do recognize that others need a helping hand from time to time.
    1. Chuck Toad is a disaster.. he did not wait 10 seconds after Bernie declared victory to attack him.. he has had a scowl on his face in every section attempting to avoid saying Bernie.. His hairdresser is probably a Bernie Bro LOL
  1. A lot of the comments I’ve read here (on Rep. Jim Clyburn’s statement) are either silly or cynical. What his preferred choices for a presidential nominee would be has obviously intrigued some folks to make guesses as to what they are. Forget it. Whatever support he gives to any Democrat will be respected and appreciated. For me it was enjoyable just to watch a person explain that he has worked out a firm criteria for making his ‘rank choice’ list while coyly and tactfully not revealing it.
    1. I made my decision a long time ago.. I am not going to announce it until 3 days before a primary in an attempt to influence the vote.. I know all these candidates and have for a long time.. I have supported and helped many.. I did an event with Biden… not with amy..
      by a process of illimitation it is someone he knows and supports.. its Biden.
      It is also irrelevant because Biden is finished and Amy and Pete have no path with support to win. It will be sanders unless the DNC rig it and hand Trump 4 more years. Nobody is interested in Chuck Toad spinning it away from a progressive candidate with the most support. He is interviewing a moderate because his endorsement and view is predictable.
    1. Biden will drop out of the race within a month. He’s running out of money and his performance has been dismal.
    2. It’s a wise choice. A socialist would lose the electoral college. Christian states won’t vote for him. Socialism scares them like gays.
  2. Just a friendly reminder that Russian troll bots are everywhere in the comments these days, and they play on both sides. Ignore them. Don’t engage or react. Look for telltale signs (recently created account, misuse of definitive articles, syntax errors, questions worded as statements, repetitive posting, etc.) and THINK before biting or replying.
