  2. How was this access rare? They rented a helicopter from a guiding company, that’s it. Not rare at all.

  3. My heart is BREAKING with sympathy for people who buy a house…next to a VOLCANO
Just as it does for people who buy a house…in the Mississippi River FLOODPLAIN
I’m just hoping my tax $$ will help them buy a NEW house…next to a VOLCANO in the Mississippi FLOODPLAIN in an EARTHQUAKE zone. The 3 birds/1 and whatnot

    1. The Mauna Loa lava flow is very far away from any homes and will probably never threaten any. But then again, on the island of Hawai’i no matter where you live, there will always be a possibility of lava from one of the volcanos reaching your house. The “safest” area to live in is on the north side, the older side, of the island. But any volcano from Haleakala (on Mau’i) and south of it has a possibility of erupting.

    2. @Kala’iolele Are you a professional joke fact checker? Or an amateur/ hobbyist?
I NEED to know before I reply. I’ve been advocating for YEARS that we should have weight classes for Troll competition.
Mauna Loa Lava to you, from Hurricane Beach, Florida ☮

    3. @John Dodge No, I’m kanaka maoli, and a fisheries biologist that was born and raised in Hawai’i. My ‘ohana and I have several pieces of property in the area and also near Kilauea, and the comments I made were just from looking at history and the past flows. We also have another small lot just about 400 meters or so just mauka (towards the mountains) of vents that destroyed the houses at Leilani Estates.

  4. I’m so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever. I’m a single mother living in Melbourne Australia, bought my second house in September and hoping to retire next year at 50 if things keep going smoothly for me.,,

    1. Amazing seeing others who trade with Mrs Valentina , I started my investment wit $164,400, a week later, we had grown to $493,080. This lady!! absolute genius*

    2. Her training program has been insightful, and I must say, I’m most honored to have been part and a full-time beneficiary of her daily signals. I have been growing & have been able to increase my portfolio from 1.5BTC to more than 5.5BTC with her daily signals…

  5. Despite the economic crisis, this is still a good time to invest in Gold and crypto investing in different streams of income in other not to depend on government for funds and avoid all the chitchat about the inflation.

  6. To obtain financial freedom, one must either be a business owner, an investor or both, generating passive income, particularly on a monthly basis.

    1. I’m a long term investor. Having upto £765,000 in my portfolio during the covid-19 pandemic since having his service till this day.

    2. Yes and me too investing is the fastest way to Financial freedom. Investing is building wealth and that has been my priority thanks. 🙏

    1. @Cosa Nostra Actually that’s not theology it’s just geology.
Stop asserting your make believe to my home.

    2. @Cosa Nostra That’s incredible. Responding to a fairytale with an alternate fairytale. I love it when you guys argue about which of your imaginary friends is real. 🍿 In all seriousness I have no problem with people using tales like Pele as poetic, cultural stories but if someone literally believes there is a chick under the mountain, yeeting molten rock out the top… 😂. That’s a claim about reality, and the rest of us get to criticize it and demonstrate why it is absurd.

  7. Absolutely amazing footage. Laura really does fit into the definition of death and rebirth. That land that has been consumed by the lava, once flattened out a bit, perhaps with a bit of human help, will now become home to new plant life, and in the decades to come, will become one of the most fertile areas on the island.

    1. Yeah, new plants in maybe 10000-1000000 years, sounds absolutely great. Surely we should the few protect we have for now, they will truly never come back or will substitute in the next hundred decades.

    2. that lady is a haole that has no respect for hawaii and its culture. You dont see the local braddahs and sistas building thier homes where the volcano can take it. Only rich privlaged white people build thier homes in such a destructive area. I hope Pele takes her house.

  8. “Helicopter” “New access” “incredible new views”… All of that was true.
So why, in God’s name, did you cover up almost every shot with a grayscreen text box of the pilots comments? That couldn’t have been moved to the bottom or the top of the screen?
Yes, brief glimpses of the lava from the air. but most obscured, and then adding a separate story and interview in the middle, re; Kiluaea, that didn’t fit the supposed gist of the story – which i thought was going to be maybe a good 2 minutes of talking over exclusive footage from the air. Not sure what they paid for the ride, but the looped 15 seconds or so of new footage was a complete let down.
Its a Volcano. every story is about the lava. because the Lava is the story.
focus there next time your in the air, please.
p.s. you could’ve gotten higher resolution with a basic drone.
just an opinion. critique. whatevs. Peace

  9. Volcanoes are generally difficult. Thank you for this good reporting job ..today! So, I hope.. we have a holiday with lots of flames in Hawaii. Very beautiful place to live.) Thank you. 💛🏋️💕
