Well space is mostly empty, you could easily look at things up there with a telescope or other viewing devices. The ocean, especially beyond certain depths, is not only difficult to get to, but also observe.

Maybe more since Denmark ranks higher than the US in the economic freedom chart. Denmark has a lower poverty rate, better healthcare system, ranks better in almost every statistic. How is Denmark losing by having workers make a living wage?
