Cockpit video shows bird flying into military jet engine, causing crash | USA TODAY #Shorts

A military training jet crashed in a neighborhood near Fort Worth, Texas, injuring the two pilots and damaging three homes but not seriously hurting anyone on the ground, authorities said. The video from the T-45C Goshawk shows a large bird being "ingested" prior to the crash.

  1. I was once on a plane to Florida from NY on take off when birds hit one engine. A loud bang occurred and a smell filled the cabin as the plane tilted to one side. The pilot immediately announced we were turning back to airport. Thankfully the other engine wasn’t affected. It was terrifying. Pilot did great job. Birds are no joke. Peace out and God bless !

  2. I wonder if some kind of screen could be put over the engines to keep birds from flying into them without affecting the plane’s flying ability.
