El Chapo in response to the protest, Trump ordered the reinforcement of the fence around the White House grounds. There is now a 20 ft temporary barricade in place.
That new fence renovation has been in the works for a while and the protest was a good way of showing the fence renovation needed to happen soon. Last time I checked if is already hard enough to protect the president as it is and having 1000’s of protestors outside the White House just puts more stress on the secret service rather than the president.
