  1. Kinda wondering why no one is covering the food lines that are a thousand people long and run out of food everyday.

    1. @Elmosweed
Do you agree with giving money to the lobbiest too because that was also in the bill.

There are a number of things in the proposal that would be very helpful to people right now, but also a lot of things they just tried to push though the cracks to benefit themselves. Just like in the cares act where they gave themselves a raise.

    2. @a C Please point out the money for lobbyists- I do not agree with that –
I was not aware of that one and cannot find any info- thank you

    3. You can vote out ALL DEMOCRATS out of American politics. That’s the ONLY WAY to save jobs, freedoms and the American way of life.

  2. So sorry. My granddaughter missed her 2020 High School Graduation also. Plus now has to wait to go into the Air Force.

    1. She’s gonna get there, keep praying for her and all of America getting thru this crisis.

    2. Bernice- That sucks- Those memories of graduation are ones we all cherish.

Our last year in High School are some of the best days for most of us.
I am sure you are 10000% proud of her for joining the Air Force..
Good luck to her- life will slowly start up again.
You can take some credit for that as well- You must have a raised a wonder child that raised such a wonderful granddaughter.
Ralf Häggström No disrespect to you-
But I feel your comment- while not intended to be offensive I am sure-
came out that way in my opinion.
Us grandparents are very sensitive about what people say when talking about our grand kids.
We are like a mamma bear protecting our cubs with nothing to loose.😁

  3. The short answer is, they can’t compete. If they’re able to land a job now it will be pure luck without experience. So send resumes and stay vigilant but With 36,000,000+ people out of work, new graduates will need to ride the wave like we did after 911 and after the 2008 recession. Put those school loans in forbearance and buckle up. Been there done that and got the T-shirt.

    1. I hired on with AT&t was offered a job as operator got promonoted to tech. It can be done. Todays kids are wasting their time with video and goofing off.

    2. It’s amazing how America gets itself in such a mess…and they don’t realise it’s THEM – not the whole world. 2008 they say was the “world” recession….ah….sorry guys, we did just fine in 2008/09. Republicans crashed your economy, like they did under Reagan, like they did twice under Bush, and crashed again under Trump. BLAME YOURSELVES….it aint the “world”

  4. 1. It’s who you know 2. Where you went to school. However #1 is the most important no matter what anyone says!

    1. Someone with a brain!!! I have seen employers change the criteria for a job to suit the person who they want to have it.

    2. All the more reason to put a moratorium on federal hires from Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, Columbia, etc. These are not universities; they are boot camps for globalist foot soldiers. Globalism has been repudiated, praise God, so there is no reason to replenish the swamp from these “institutions” once it has been drained.

  5. I’m sorry about that! I’m also a graduate student but am willing to wait for awhile for a safe celebration! Congratulations to us!!!

  6. LOOK.Just be positive, healthy and believe in God HE will help… straight up gurls..U GO GURLS..!!!👍👍🙏🙏😇😇…

    1. The meme for blind faith secures its own perpetuation by the simple unconscious expedient of discouraging rational inquiry.

  8. You go out of the city and work in gardens, on bikes, physical stuff. Or go for grad school.

  9. You don’t 😉 you sit quietly and wait your time.. that’s how the economy worked in 2008-2013 too 😉 welcome to capitalism. The machine doesn’t need new workers, only consumers.

    1. Mitch M The machine is resilient. It hasn’t been allowing us to take it down.. also, once you take it down, what’s there to fill in the void? Nothing else seems to work any better..

  10. The continuation of the various cheap labor visas during these economic times shows plainly that those in power do not care if our young people get a start in life. They care about cheap labor for the oligarchs that fund them.

  11. After trying higher education for a couple of years I got into a Union apprenticeship. Great money, benefits, a pensions, local and national. I kept up my education taking classes that sharpened my skills. All because of a great humam resources manager with B. & V. Consulting Engrs., who helped me get my foot into the electrical part of the building trade.

  12. Stay in college longer, get a MFA or Doctorate online. Live with your parents. Leave the few jobs there are for people with children, for now. Or have babies and go on welfare? ✌😷

  13. I went to my college graduation, it was hours of waiting for all the names to be called, speeches that put me and my neighbors to sleep and a lot of people who smelled of stale alcohol because they has gotten a head start on celebrating. Made me wish i had not gone at all. As for getting a job, look for anything that pays to begin with but keep searching for the job you want.

    1. God you just took me back to my graduation- it was everything you just stated. It was so packed over 10,000 people- my mom had on a dark pair of glasses- quick thinking and SCAM artist lil old me ~Told officials she was blind whispered in her ear {play along}. Of course she did and she got a front row seat. Bad I know, but hey she’s an older lady she cant stand up for hours, on end😂😂😂😂😂
