1st Reroute American tax money to AMERICANS
Don’t know why we don’t institute a UBI for the duration of this pandemic. Get the money out to the people monthly to keep them afloat and keep our economy on life support. Help keep more Americans isolated to stop the spread, allowing quicker recovery. It’s a no-brainer!
Folks with a lien on their taxes got their stimulus checks confiscated by the government as debt collection. How does that help American citizens during a global pandemic, how does that reduce the burden on our health care systems and workers, and how does that help the U.S. stop the spread of this deadly pandemic within our borders? More insanity from the Trump administration, killing more Americans.
What about all the self-employed folks not qualifying as a small business, thus unable to get a loan, and who couldn’t afford to pay back a loan, anyway? No unemployment checks, no employment. $1200 isn’t even enough for one month. Too many Americans falling through the cracks right now, forgotten. We can do better. We MUST do better!

Colleges online courses typically are a different fee than on residence courses. Since an online course can be taken from any location with an internet access, schools shouldn’t be allowed to charge different fees to out-of-state students.

Just a few months ago she was seeing gunshot victims, now it’s mostly covid-19 patients but only the serious ones on ventilators. all the others are sent home. We are opning up and what people fail to realize is that there is NO cure. Vaccines are NOT a cure. It will continue to spread and those who are afraid should stay home. The others who want to work and go out to eat or/we just be safe, that’s it. these democratic governors keeping strict lockdowns and arresting/fining people is ludacris. Never will it hold up in court.
If all the people who are not afraid of the virus were allowed to go about their business, while at the same time we isolate the old and infirm, the thing will blow through and peter out on its own, as it will have nowhere left to go. Shutting everything down drags it all out and makes us as a society forever susceptible to the virus, which is the worst possible strategy.

It’s like rowing or paddling upstream, or into a stiff wind–if you ease-up too much or stop, you will only have to paddle twice as hard to make up all the previous hard-earned progress that was quickly lost. Failing to maintain isolation and other measures for sufficient time to stop the spread of COVID-19 transmission will cost U.S. more in time, effort, money, and LIVES. Reopening and relaxing measures too early in defiance of the science and data is the ultimate in colossal ignorance, greed, ruthlessness, and arrogance.

“Everybody that needs a test can get one!” Except, EVERYONE needs testing! It’s not just about testing people who get sick, or even just those health care and other essential front-line workers, or those with a doctor referral. It’s really all about RANDOMIZED testing, and testing for TRACKING and containment. THOSE are the testing capabilities desperately needed to safely reopen the economy–which the U.S. sorely lacks. Besides lying about virtually non-existent testing capabilities at the time, while also continually misleading Americans by touting testing kits instead of actual testing ABILITIES, the dirty, dastardly, dynamic duo of Toxic TRUMP and Plague PENCE were moving the goal posts, hoping to “score” in a game with no winners.
