    1. @J Bifulco News from MSNBC? LOL. If you want to even have a semblance of news more often than not, go to places like Jimmy Dore on YT.

    2. Monsieur LaFlamme what “friends” are you talking about who are gullible? Anyone who has been watching Collins knows she has a forked tongue. I for one don’t even listen to her or any right wing nuts, because everything that comes out of there mouths are lies.

  1. It’s just her same-old-nonsense: The Senate “shouldn’t” vote. Notice she doesn’t say she will not vote. So, as always, she’s just (even if she’s to be believed) putting a case against voting, but will ultimately do whatever Trump/McConnell tells her to do.

    1. Anyone still believing in Collins needs to reset their belief button! She is a liar of the highest order back to playing her old games.

  2. THIS ‘woman’ is one of the main reasons I don’t donate to the RNC. Every election they give money to this thing to run. She needs to go.

    1. @KM JR You were responding to T Electronics while addressing your comment directly to me? And I’m a moron? What’s wrong with you people? You people are a group of nutjobs.

    2. @John Brattan Btw, seems like I apparently (and accidentally) responded to you instead of T Electronix.. But that still doesnt justify you persinally attacking me. And I expanded upon what you said, so what’s your problem?

    3. @deejo 2 Way ahead of you Sparky , I retired to New Zealand , a functional healthcare system , smart leadership , no idiots wandering the streets waving guns … Sweet . As to ‘ greatest country ‘ ? last I looked the US was around 23 in educational rankings ( down from 14 under Obama ) in the top 10 corrupt counties , way down for healthcare , depressed , angry … and of course you are now on the world’s No Fly list … not that MAGAnuts have passports , but they have made it a diseased s**thole country in just three and a half years …

    4. @KM JR They would have to do it before Jan 3 if Democrats flip the Senate. The new Congress is sworn in before the president.

    1. @dungeness99 I think that you give Republicans too much credit. They will do exactly what Putin wants them to do. Besides, they’re opponents are already as fired up as it’s possible to get, so I don’t actually think that there is any danger there.

I think that they’ll take this win and worry about the damage after. That is how they’ve always opperated and they’ve seldom paid a price for it, so why change behaviour now.

    1. @Doug Lowe – Indeed. The GOP has broken every norm and rule in the book in their singular focus on filling the courts with political hacks with the sole purpose of defeating Roe v Wade; from gerrymandering districts into unrecognizable rorschach tests, to bending Senate rules to suit their purposes. This has long ago shed any semblance to democratic process. It’s devolved into all out gorilla warfare. Our elected officials on the left better start recognizing it for what it is.

    2. @The last farewell More to the point, the voters on the left who elect people to office better start recognizing it for what it is, and for what it has been for a long time. Then maybe we will have some left politicians who also understand the situation and are willing take action to change it.

    3. @The last farewell “.. recognizing it for what it is” – and what do you think it is? It is America’s hidden face, the “real” face. That filth you refer to as gorilla warfare is what the US is all, and nothing else nor more, about. Filth everywhere one looks, nothing but filth. What a horrible place, my God.

  3. She always does this ‘Devil’s Advocate’ schtick. But, as she well knows, that only works when you’re not working FOR the Devil.

  4. So she’s basically saying she’s against doing something ethical and morally wrong but she’ll do it anyway.

    1. @Debbie Bassett the Senate refused to table evidence or call witnesses…..Would you like ANY trial to be decided like that? If so I don’t like your idea of America being a fair and free country.

  5. *She’s saying this now, but wait till push comes to shove and her spine will POOF! MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR!*

  6. She’s desperate. Nobody trusts her. If she loses she’s gonna confirm in lame duck. Watch what she said. She said ‘before election’, not ‘before inauguration’.

    1. no she did say that – she said the new justice should be chosen by the president elected in November. Read the full statement.

    2. Oh, Comey Barrett (if Trump picks her) is ASSURED of the nod to SCOTUS. That means America will finally have a young, Conservative SCOTUS and we’ll benefit from that blessing for GENERATIONS! God BLESS America!

    3. Nobody? You speak for everybody? Btw, you do know that MSNBC is using her as a foil against Trump so their trustworthiness is no better than hers. Head on over to Jimmy Dore for real politics.

  7. Hey, Susan… do you STILL think he “learned his lesson” from the Impeachment.”? Come on MAINE, VOTE HER OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. PSA — Collins is INFAMOUS for saying things one way and then voting another way, you can’t trust this two face…
