  1. If Moscow Mitch is saying he wants gun legislation then I have to wonder what the catch is. Either he’s just stalling or he is going to attach something that the Democrats cannot agree to.

    1. It’s always the blue ghetto cities that have these issues. Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, NYC, St Louis and LA.

  2. If it’s good for the country, count on Moscow Mitch McConnell actively resist or refuse to comply with..🤪

    1. @texas thunder
But the Republican headed Senate Intelligence Committee Report even stated that Russia was indeed hacking us

The FBI and other US Intelligence agencies said that there was a serious problem with white nationalists some ‘years’ ago.
That was happening under Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Reagan as well.

      Hoaxes…?? Are you kidding me?

    1. Congress passed this background check legislation months ago, the bill is sitting with Mitch McConnell who refuses to allow the Senate to vote and pass it! This Congress is trying but facing the same block that Obama did, Mitch’The Grimm Reaper’ McConnell.

  3. Why has this Mayor NOT detoured the gun violence in Chicago. Because all the gun violence is done with illegally obtained guns !

    1. Captain Ahab you must be very ignorant and/or not from Chicago. Don’t speak for my city if you don’t know you can get legal guns cheaply in INDIANA. Fool

  4. I think they should come in early which gives them time to carefully look at strong gun measures to ensure public safety. Public safety should be paramount! They should get folks in (Sandy Hook, Parkland etc in to testify and provide research on gun violence)

  5. Even my Bird frowns on Tweets. She can just peck at the phone and talk…far more than Ivanka can do…🐤🐤🐥

  6. Not that it is Congress fault, when we didn’t have unlimited funding to political parties in the 1970’s Congress actually worked. What we have is intented Corporate disfunction to allow Corporations to do what they want.

  7. Massacre Mitch, aka Moscow Mitch, gets paid by the NRA (National Russia Affiliates) in addition to Putin’s cronies. Do-Nothing Mitch has everything to lose.

  8. I agree with the host because she is wrong it’s been years we’ve been trying to get rid of assault weapons. And it really is time for Congress and the Senate to do something about it.

  9. I know it’s just good to hear from every individual voice whether they tweet Facebook Instagram Go Global. It doesn’t matter. No one tell grown folks how to think. Or what to do. It’s common sense. What’s going on right now is wrong. No excuses.

  10. Attempting to exploit a tragedy to take away people’s rights is something wannabe despots would do and would only cause more deaths. Government monopolies are the worst kinds of monopolies.

  11. Coming from a mayor that has record raids on citizens to the wrong address. Multiple times at the same addresses. Her words are empty.

    1. No…. You’re screwed just being a Democrat….. you come here everyday listening for this propaganda….. they’re the ones screwing you….

  12. The Mayor should point out to the listening public: “We’ve passed laws and we can pass more laws. But Trump and the GOP can bat them all down so that people in urban areas are kept at risk. The guns and shootings are a political tool to turn rural areas against the urban ones. That needs to stop at the federal level before problems with guns can be solved at the local level.”
