Why don’t the local police do something, arrest these unidentified “federal” thugs
@Blossom the police were ORDERED BY A JUDGE, not by the mayor, to stop tear gassing and shooting peaceful protesters with rubber bullets, they weren’t told to stand down. Get your facts straight. There have been continued police arrests before AND after the feds arrived. The feds came in because the building was tagged, an issue Portland citizens see as nothing more that what it is…. temporary. It can be cleaned off.
What you see in the news is not the reality in real life. And yes, I do live and protest here…a 62 yr old womxn disgusted at the killing of Black people being done with impunity.
@Nexus Six They don’t identify themselves as such, and it’s a federal crime to impersonate law enforcement so they’re well within their right to arrest them.
TalesOfWar they have already said on the news by federal officer spokesman that they identified themselves to the suspect they detained for 10 min that they picked up in the unmarked van. They were chasing a criminal who ran from a federal courthouse. They did not identify themselves to the protester yelling at them that videoed it and they are not obligated to while arresting someone. Stop parroting bias media.
