    Hot pepper rubbed in my eye at 8 years old because I left my black friends sell newspapers with me and the racism has continued for the next 62 years I’ll be glad when it’s over

  8. Never heard of that band but hey, good on them! To live means to learn and adapt. Those who do not adapt, will be steamrolled by change – just like the fairly shortlived (but not shortlived enough) trumpublican party is destined to be.

    My full respects to the true Americans that find it in their hearts and make a change for the better.
    I know my white brothers and sisters are overwhelming good hearted people. It is only the rotten ones that gives America the wrong reputation.
    I am a Mexican immigrate in this, my country for the 35 yrs–most my life.
    I know my people here well. We are good people, he give a hand to our people–no matter what color, what race, no matter where we come from.

    I love their music. Had no idea as a Black woman that “antebellum” was offensive. We’re all getting woke right now.
