    1. This is one of those ideas that keeps spreading. You will not test positive for COVID just because you have the flu. PCR COVID tests don’t react to the flu. They’re completely different viruses. The majority of tests being done in the US are PCR tests. The swabs.

Serological tests, or antibody tests, are the ones where there may be cross reactivity with coronaviruses that cause colds. But it’s not a guarantee.

So basically, the swabs that they jam into our brains won’t go off on any other viruses apart from COVID-19. The ones where they take your blood are the ones that can possibly react to other viruses.

    2. Except hospitals and doctors are listing the flu as covid cause they get an extra 55k per Covid patient and they can cover it up

    1. @Carpe Diem Arts Trump does not control whats in the air thats common sense not politics , and Biden who still doesn’t know where he’s at will do no better, he cant even help his crackhead , mixed up son, GET REAL.

    2. Republicans keep telling Democrats to wear condoms to avoid unwanted pregnancy’s.
Democrats are asking Republican to wear a mask to stop people from dying.
Trust me, I would rather wear the mask..
At least the mask does not cut off my blood flow😁

    1. @FortheLuIz The USA under President Trump is better positioned than many European countries with their socialist health care and national lockdowns.

    2. @Kevin Sutherlin only after Clump goes and interesting how people project their own hate and ignorance onto others.

  1. And winter’s just getting started, so be sure to take your vitamin D or get a bit of Sun whenever available because the immune system is much less effective in winter months due not getting the sufficient amount of vitamin D that is needed in order to much more easily fight off infection and disease.

  2. “Around the world” …except for Australia. We’ve been having none (0) to a couple Covid19 community spread cases each day.

    1. Eye yiye yiye…cant argue with the results. Fully open-except border- no virus. I dont see the problem. Smaller populations have different options. That’s all. SMH. If Australia wasn’t across such a big body of water…I’d live there.

    2. Michael Hughes technically its surrounded by water on all sides and is not connected to any other country or continent ,Next you gonna tell me About Pangea.it’s an Island the continent is Oceania 🙄

    3. @Doug H Yep. it sucks. But we’ve accepted that some restrictions are reasonable to decrease the spread of the virus when there are flare ups. Thanks to the sacrifice of all Victorians going back under a strict lockdown and closing their borders we have managed to maintain a relatively strong economy with most people still able to live their lives as they please. But the Victorians beat their major outbreak which when it started was at the same level as the UK’s. As of today its been 14 days, 0 cases, 0 deaths with everyone starting to go back to work and borders expected to be open by Christmas (with some sensible restrictions still in place). Compare that to UK/ US/ France etc. Lockdowns work. They just have to be implemented in conjunction with meaningful social and employee support programs to get everyone through it. See here’s the thing about Aussies vs Yanks – as a New South Wales citizen I am 100% happy for my tax dollars to be spent helping Victorians and support them through their lockdown – their sacrifice and hard fought win means I keep my freedoms. And I would go back into lockdown to help them keep their freedoms if I have to. It’s not “them” and “us” – we’re all Australians.

    4. @Doug H Not if you’re in country that has social provisions for times like this. You idiots give billions in corporate social handouts and ask people to die for stock market prices. What a bunch of easily led sheep.

    1. Big win for Trump on Pennsylvania. Biden is on the run for election fraud. He actually thinks they won’t find him in his basement.

  3. I still haven’t seen that death counter in quite a while I wonder what ever happened that made CNN decide not to have it anymore

    1. @Daniel Evertt It was not intended to be taken literally. Just used that as an example. Besides, figures and statistics can be easily manipulated and distorted. Know that all too well with working with reported cases of corona viruses here within the UK. The exact figure is no where near to what the government are reporting. The irony of this is that if this is representative of all countries then COVID 19 is not as deadly as we’re led to believe. So I hardly think I’m being “dumb” when making the comparison here. Try reading people’s comments from an objective perspective in preference to taking and adopting a subjective stance. You’ll be able to see the bigger picture then!

    2. @Daniel Evertt Likewise here. I’m a mental health nurse and thus see things up-close-and-personal. I’m fully awake and self-aware. Unsure what exactly you’re referring to? I’ve not for one moment suggested or implied that COVID 19 was nonsense. Please read by comments in their full context and you’ll clearly see the point I’m making.

    1. Trump smashes the court case in Pennsylvania. Thousands of votes deemed illegal for Biden. Dems hearts are sinking by the minute. The media lied and you were all fools to believe them.

    2. Shutting down the economy and forcing people to stay home pushing people further into abject poverty while making them more dependent on government handouts. Because “the science,” they say.

  4. My eyeglasses get fogged up wearing a mask means vapor from my lungs escapes the mask, and also my mask gets soaked with lung respiration moisture which means your restaurant server wearing a mask who constantly touches his mask has lung moisture on their fingers. And they are touching your plate. Just sayn

    1. @Stan Wilson Europe demographics is much different than US. You people have 25 people at a dinner table every night. You are much more social. Here, most are independent. In fact, there are family members who don’t even talk to each other let alone stand next to each other. Europe has it’s own responsibility to survive. We lost many helping Europe survive during WWII so don’t blame your Covid failure on our President.

    2. @Stan Wilson Tell who the Europeans? You would think the Europeans would tell Europeans what to do. Besides, individuals own the responsibility to survive. The common cold, and flu, which are no longer valid it seems, are airborne transmitted. Can’t you take a hint. Avoid people.

    3. That’s why u should wash your hands, if you’re that worried and against wearing masks as you clearly are….don’t eat out 🤦🏾‍♀️

    4. @Piper Marie When I grew up there were no restaurants. We grow and cook our own food. We touch it, cook it, and eat it, without any other people sneezing all over it. Do we need gov’t to tell us to wash our hands? How about wiping, or blowing your nose or tying your shoe laces. How about a lock down on eating too much which kills more people than Covid that humans are so irresponsible the eat themselves into the grave.

  5. How’s this happening if we now have the knowledge we didn’t have at the beginning of this pandemic? And now the majority of the world wears a mask, there should be no reason for us to be WORSE than we were when we were blindsighted by this virus at the start. This just seems odd to me.
