It’s never going to work because people are never going to comply. And why aren’t people complying? Because states like Washington have already had complete lockdowns and you know how that turned out? Def more bad than good. So people are fatigued with the whole thing, meaning you’re never going to get 100% compliance with the mandiates. The CDC already fucked it by initially saying masks were bad. If you want to know about a society on lockdown, look back at World War II when entire cities had to keep all of the lights off throughout the night to hide from possible enemy bombing raids, and people sacrificed their pride and did it to protect our nation. And now “patriotic” Americans complain like spoiled children that they have to put on a little mask when they go to 7-11.
The CDC initially told people to not buy all of the masks on the market so that hospital staff wouldn’t face a shortage, not that masks are bad or don’t work. There has been a real plan all along, but everyone is too spoiled, lazy, selfish or stupid to follow the plan.

I am Australian , we had done around 10,000 tests by end of February , so we were a bit slow off the mark. The US had done around 500 tests by the end of February. This is the time period you needed to act, South Korea had done something like 100,000 tests by the end of February. You can’t turn back the clock, the CDC et al. were asleep at the wheel to the end of February. When they woke up in March it was too late Trump had already kept advising people the virus would go away.
