@moe bezz ~ the CDC is not a part of the American federal government. They are a for profit private corporation that is open for business and they make 100’s of millions of dollars from vaccines alone. Seems like a conflict of interest doesn’t it?
@moe bezz lol you can believe your cnn all you want. Just go back and look and cdc recommendations and the way things were said in other countries as it came out. Just one example: italy stated it was airbourne way before our cdc did and they denied it was airborne at first. Go recheck

@gottagowork It was a rhetorical question. Point being, the moisture droplets don’t go through the mask at all – they just go around it.
@Kcducttaper1 That comes from the way you wear the mask thankfully, so as long as you wear a surgical mask, or any mask for that matter, it is making a difference.
@The Fallen D.W. by Reese G. Unless you actually seal it up with some sort of gasket material (rubber, tape, etc), it still shoots out the top/sides/bottom of the mask. If you don’t believe me, take a puff of smoke/vape/fog/whatever, pop a mask on, and exhale.
Yes but there are masks that solve that problem. There are also tips on how to adjust your mask on YouTube.

A mask does not do much to help yourself, but people not wearing a mask puts other people at a much higher risk. If everyone wears a mask, the disease stops spreading. If one person doesn’t, the disease keeps spreading amongst everyone who comes in contact with it. The whole point of wearing a mask is to stop you from spreading it, not the other way around. The people who work in labs and such handle diseases far more lethal and contagious than this one, meaning they have to take a crap ton more precautions to ensure it doesn’t go public. The masks don’t stop viruses from coming in, they stop them from coming out nearly as easily. And to be on the contrary here it would be quite difficult to have absolutely every single person essentially wearing a thousand dollar hazmat suit. Thankfully you people have some sense about you, I’ve seen a lot of people who are just completely ridiculous to hear and respond to.

Masks were made mandatory in Victoria Australia and they are now on double donut day no.14… 14 days straight with zero new cases and zero new deaths. Sweden, going towards heard immunity, at the peak of their 1st wave in March were reporting just under 1,700 cases a day. In the last week they are reporting triple that amount of new cases a day. Sweden 601 deaths/million and rising, Australia 35 deaths/million and static. I don’t need a professional to explain the science when the results are obvious.
