Critically endangered right whale calf spotted in Atlantic Ocean #shorts

The first calf of the latest North Atlantic right whale calving season was spotted off the coast of Georgia.

It is the seventh known calf for its mother who was first spotted in 1981 and is at least 41-years-old.

This species remains critically endangered — with numbers plummeting to fewer than 350.
