John Brennan, former CIA Director, joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the "critical" importance of Joe Biden receiving his first President's Daily Brief today and his concerns on the assassination of an Iran nuclear scientist. Brennan says one concern of his is "if a country had authorized or conducted the attack I think it's beyond the norm in terms of practices that states should engage in, in terms of assassinating senior officials of public government. Israel & Iran are not in state of war. Just the way we would condemn any assassination carried out by Russia, China, we should do it when there's a senior official of a sovereign state who is assassinated." Aired on 11/30/2020.

Trump never listened or read the briefings. The staff always found it in the trashcan and had to retrieve it, telling him those were very important issues he needed to read.
IIRC they made small cue cards for him, with short bullit points. Started with 3, but noticed he stopped paying attention past two, so they reduced it to two.
I think Biden is gonna be frustrated when they show up to brief him pn the state of the nation, world, potential conflicts etc – with a couple of post-it notes.
We also know there were certain subjects, like for instance stuff regarding Russia, he would get really pissy aboit hearing and fight with them over. So they basically have avoided bringing that stuff up. I hope that presedence doesn’t transfer to the briefing of the new admin just out of routine.
Hopefully there’s no big words like “psalmist” in them, right?
