Power to the people
Incidentally, more than 5,000 people marched in Dublin a few days ago too, in support of that poor man and BLM, but the Irish reaction and support for him has largely gone unnoticed, internationally.
But, to be clear, Irish people are also appalled at police brutality in America, as well as absolutely *despising* Trump and being quite worried about the future of America, given how much *he* has *destroyed* its unity and reputation, when so many of us have relations and family in America who are very, very angry and upset about how he has ripped the country apart.
Good luck, Americans, and to all peaceful protestors, everywhere…

Trump tries to “quell” the protest with force. It just mobilizes more individuals to make their voices heard. He may be in a high position as the president, but he is in absolutely no way more powerful than the people.

@N. deG ….i’m so glad you mentioned this. I had to research this very topic to earn my degree. Look at major corporations like Attenti for instance. The very same year this Israeli-based company got involved with the DOC, there was a 19% rise in arrests nationwide. People get arrested, stay a minimum of 10 days (so insurance benefits kick in) and they get released with an Attenti ankle bracelet. I can give you dozens of examples of this but the most important note is Trump is the ONLY President to fight against this, get woke son.
@SouthSide Chicago I was born woke.I don’t care what Trump does bc as long as we have a government extortion scheme called plea bargaining, where prosecutors stack up 20 nonsensical charges against a person to end up with one count to which you sign off guilty( even if not proven), we don’t have a fair justice system.You either sign off on that one count ‘n get 20 yrs or you go to trial with some pro bono shyster bc you can’t afford proper legal counsel ‘n get 350 years.Plea bargaining was put in place to ”alleviate the burden on the justice system” , not to secure fair trials.So we end up with poor( people of color) in jail for the most part.Plea bargaining is 95% of all court cases, which means that 95% of the people that get prosecuted are not judged by a judge, and a jury of their peers, but by a prosecutor.They run the justice system in this country.This is the insane ”justice ”system we live with.This is what needs to get burned down, ‘n built back up from scratch in order to secure fairness in our justice system.

Now Jorge was facing a sh*t ton of time because he had a prior pistol charge and already did 3 tears from a quarter kilo of cocaine. Money talks. Hired Goldman from downtown, and was able to walk away with only 9 years on a f’n murder.
