There must be enough popular support for a cantidate to be elected. Most democratic countries have such mechanism in place. I actually know only one “real” democracy which is switzerland.

However the ONE good thing Trump is doing (not on purpose of course) is showing many Americans and the rest of the world the level of corruption, greed, income inequality, lack of healthcare and stupidity that exists within the US. Most other countries have this as well but he is certainly making it painfully obvious how bad it is in the US. What’s also becoming very apparent is the amount of corruption and cowardice that is present in much of the establishment politics on BOTH sides as well as the amount of media bias that exists. There is far too much money in politics and the media corporations and it’s been quite revealing as to how this money and power affects their decisions and reporting. Don’t get me wrong … I’m not standing up for Trump AT ALL! But from my perspective having this MORON in office has exposed many of the issues that MAKE AMERICA NOT GREAT!!

I live in New York, about 60 miles north of NYC. He should remember that his golden tower is where he will return when this circus is over. His ambivalence over supporting the U.S. epicenter of infection is maddening. Acting as though he assembled the respirators with his own hands and what a huge favor he did for NY. A few years sheltered and an even further swollen ego completely removed him from his home. The landscape and “welcome” will be much changed when he returns.
