Honestly, forget the contact tracing…it is impossible at this point. Also forget all this testing, which is pointless if it takes a week or ten days to get back. What a waste of money and time. Protect yourself with mask, goggles, cleaning. Isolate as much as possible. Go to hospital if you get sick enough to do so.

You’re absolutely right! Testing gives you information, when to go into lockdown ( 1 week ago ) and when to reopen cautiously ( 6 to 8 weeks from now). Then and only then contact tracing is an option to contain ’embers’. Looking for embers in a blazing forest fire is pointless.

I am pretty sure you need to remind the public every day that 50 million people died during the Spanish flu 100 years ago. 665,000 Americans died as a result. We are on our way again. This will collapse America as we knew it.

I notice South Dakota is now yellow after Trump’s ridiculous fiasco.

  4. We’re heading for “herd immunity”, it’s too late BUT 2/3 of the mildly infected won’t develop antibodies. This is here to stay.

Seriously, We may be at 10% or close to 15% now, some may only be immune for a few months, and they can contract it again.
HERD IMMUNITY wouldn’t happen, until at least 70% or more have been recovered, If they Remain Protected. Do you realize how many people will die or suffer long term damage?
MINIMIZE MOVEMENT, 6FT apart, Mandatory Masks, Sanitizer, Shut down inside Bars, Outside IF 6 Ft apart, Outside Dining, Only work where safety measures are taken.
THEY Should just shut down 3 weeks, to bring those numbers down. Then contact trace the right way. God Bless All…!

  5. “Woefully Unprepared” should be the title of Trumps biography. 🙂

  6. we are so extinct ..wait till fall with the mix of flu influenza – and other genomes of Covid19-…🔥🦖☄

  7. Yay we’re number one!

  8. Florida is paying the price for following Dump and DeSantis off the cliff.

  9. Did you guys hear about this new virus called COVID19? We should probably plan for it. Smfh

  10. Lol contact tracing has basically been rendered ineffective. The virus is just too out of control at this point.

  11. Florida is a Republican strong hold and now look how they are treating their own? They are simply standing by and watching you die!

Payback on the people who vote for tRump’s puppet DeSantis if they have it, but rough on the decent folk that didn’t.

OMG, if Donnie had only fought Covid-19 with half the effort he’s put into hiding his taxes from the American people…

Seems trump is allowing the virus to “wash thru” as he verbalized months ago.

Why don‘t you just take e.g. the German tracing App?

Trump isn’t doing his job. He had the power to provide what the Government needs. Instead left them standing along.

The Governor is a Trump devotee, a fact that explains everything.

If one in three covid tests are coming back positive, just stop testing! Problem solved! #Trumplogic

Florida now has more daily new cases than Germany, before it went into lockdown. And you think about opening schools? You MUST be kidding!

    • When is somebody going to march into the Oval Office and remove that madman. He’s insane, totally insane and evil. Pence, McConnell, Graham, Nunes and all the other republicans in Congress have to go to. You guys are in so much trouble and Trump is trying to pressure Trudeau into opening our border. Somebody please, I beg of you, get the republicans out now. They can all be tried in a court of law later but they have to go now or you guys may not survive as the country you once knew. It can’t wait until November.
