Dan Pfeiffer: Barack Obama-Michael Bloomberg Relationship Is ‘Complicated’ | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC

Dan Pfeiffer, former Senior Adviser to President Obama, joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss Michael Bloomberg's new campaign ad featuring President Obama and the debate over the economy between President Obama and President Trump. He tells Andrea that Obama and Bloomberg absolutely worked together on issues, but that the ads touting their relationship "tell a story that is belied by reality of that relationship that I think is somewhat complicated."

    1. I’ll tell u why 60 billion dollars can buy u just bout anything on this earth maybe a planet also and throw in a island…BUT IT CANT BUY U A PASS THREW THE GATES OF HEAVEN…

  1. AND we need to reform the Democratic party itself.
A FEW effective corporate dems are a necessary evil, and “moderates” are fine, AS LONG as their influence is BALANCED by having enough PROGRESSIVES on the TEAM.
Having just ONE philosophy doesn’t do a good job of representing EVERYONE, but having differing philosophies with ONE GOAL in mind, as long as that goal is doing the most good for the most people, people from all walks of life IS A WINNING *TEAM*

  2. Personally, I questioned Bloomberg ads too with President Barack Obama..
I expected Biden to have those ads Instead, since they were close.

    1. @Anthony Campos If the public is unhappy with Trump, they’ll vote him out in Nov. It’s the peoples chice, not the politicians.

  3. I have been curious about this. It doesn’t seem like Obama would support a candidate like Bloomberg. Bernie is the popular choice and mine as well.

    1. I voted for Bernie already in primary here in my state in early voting. I think Ultimately it might be better if Obama just doesn’t endorse anyone. Being endorsed by a centrist Dem is not going to help in the fight against the Radical Rabid trump Republicans.

  4. Hilarious obama Bloomberg they want democratic candidates to put up with this. Cheat lie steal that’s what’s going on . Bernie you are screwed again.

  5. Beware some russian coments below paid to confuse and provoke. Bernie Sanders is the best choice. Buttigieg ‘s vision is incomplete. Bloomberg is too controversial.

  6. The Dems should focus on healthcare, the economy working for the rich AND how Trump is the biggest crook to ever hold office. They need to walk and chew gum at the same time.

    1. A recent Quinnipiac Poll which is very reliable and reputable taken of a sampling of citizens from different backgrounds, 70% of them say the economy is at least fair up to excellent. So that debunks your claim that the economy only works for the rich. Most people disagree with you.

    2. @Sandy Pomerleau I’m not talking about stock portfolios. You are. Jobs jobs and more jobs. Career opportunities. People being able to pay their bills. People being able to take vacations to Florida. That’s what matters.

  7. What is a “prohibitive favorite”? Sounds like a negative (subliminal) influencer, to me. Feel the BERN… VOTE BLUE and let’s heal!!

    1. Parlez64 , I really like Bernie but just in case, vote blue no matter who. Look what happened when some stayed home because they weren’t in love with Hillary. Feel the Bern ! 😉

  8. Add is obviously misleading and full of lies trying to make it seem like they’re best friends to fool black people really or even American people

  9. COMPLICATED: Bloomberg hated Obama just like trump does.. but now uses Obama image like a prop to pander to the Black vote

  10. It;;’s a bit tragic to think that Americans vote for candidates just becaise they advertize to them. Can nobody think for themselves?
