  1. They’re likely just going to repeat everything Lindsey Graham has been saying one fox news the last few days. Then the senators who vote to acquit will also repeat it. Multiple sources all repeating the same lie is basically the republican campaign strategy in a nutshell..

    1. Oathbreakers. Republican senators, Jan. 26, 2021, stating “I do” in response to:

*”Do you solemnly swear that in all things appertaining to the impeachment trial of Donald John Trump, former president of the United States, now pending, you will do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws, so help you God?”*

    2. That’s probably why Mike Lee, Lindsey Graham, and Moscow Mitch met privately with the Trump attorneys, and yet they are supposed to be the jury. 🤔

18 U.S. Code § 1503 – Influencing or injuring officer or juror generally

  2. Oh dont worry… teddy, linz, and whats his butt lee are giving them some tips on how to sleeze out some sort of argument that will trigger the rest of the GOP back to their gaslit default.

  3. DT lawyers don’t have to say anything, and some GQP will still vote to acquit.
When referring to them, just add Mudd to their name:
Mudd Cruz, Mudd Hawley, Mudd Graham, Mudd Lee, etc

  4. Whatever the “impartial jurors” Graham, Cruz and Lee discussed with the defense team in private today is the strategy they will use. Because it is completely honest and aboveboard for “impartial jurors” who swore an oath to be impartial to meet with the defense attorneys.

    2. _Could they have possibly been discussing some sort of plea arrangement_ . . . (smack!) What am I thinking? Of course not!

    1. I was wondering that too. They are supposed to be the jury. 🤔

  5. I’m surprised the prosecution didn’t bring up the notion of “flight” as an argument for his conscience of guilt. trump promised his followers he’d be with them during the march. Except he wasn’t. Why? He clearly knew what was about to occur and was not going to incriminate himself. I’m not a lawyer but I think that clearly establishes his premeditation for inciting violence and a clear conscience of guilt.

  6. “… Trump’s (Lack Of) Defense …” re-affirms, yet again, that #Jan621 Insurrectionist #DJT is “utterly incompetent” as per the words of both his own Federal Judge elder-sister Maryanne Trump Barry and his own Clinical Psychologist niece Dr. Mary Trump. May #Imp2POTUS45 always hear “You’re fired” via the unwavering reality of election results that reject him who is the cause of #MourningInAmerica (per #LincolnProject).

  7. McConnell the Tortise and his bale of Turtle Republicans are hiding in their Shells because they are afraid of the Donald the Snapping Turtle. They speak Trumpanese

  8. What he meant is that nothing will be changed and will be just like the last impeachment, and he’ll be exonerated to perform more mischief with the proud boys and Qanon.

  9. What are the odds that Trump’s defense team is going to somehow incriminate Republican Senators AND throw all of the Capital insurrectionists under the bus, while still being ineffective?

  10. Remember the warning of Adam Schiff at the end of the first impeachment trial?
“Trump will do it again” if he was let go free. And now this. If Trump was convicted and removed from the office then and there, nothing like this could have happened.

  11. GOP will stand totally exposed & starkly naked of their lack of conscience & of the direction they want US to be headed in future

  12. Oathbreakers. Republican senators, Jan. 26, 2021, stating “I do” in response to:

  13. When Trump released that recorded statement on Jan 6 after he let the riot happen for several hours I saw a petulant and defiantly angry man who hadn’t got what he wanted. That seemed obvious.
People he knew personally…including Republicans…could have been killed.
    He didn’t care.
Why wound anyone in the GOP support him after that?

  14. brilliantly said, ty both, but with jurors now ‘meeting with’ the defense team, i’m guessing that it will be more…
