Giroir says of the new guidelines that "the accumulating data suggests that we don't have to wait 14 days," and that 10 days of quarantine may suffice, adding that the CDC is "not going to advise anything that isn’t safe.” He also tells Andrea, "I have personally been contacted by several members of the public health team on the new administration, informally. @Not Sure this is true, I can’t argue with what you are saying but what I will say is that prolonged virus spread is not the answer either. Lock downs hurt small businesses more than large yes, but not doing anything will officially destroy them. The answer is financial assistance for thoughs that have to close for awhile and our government to care about something other than corporations. 80% of ppp loans went to thoughs corporations too instead of helping the ones that needed it. But you are worried about killing people to keep them open instead of pressuring the government to do the right thing and help these businesses.

We have vaccines coming online, the UK one is the most promising because it’s relatively cheap(£3 per dose), easy to store and easy to administer and as it’s delivery system is based on a genetically modified virus(don’t be alarmed we learned to inoculate against small pox by using the cow pox virus) it is massively scalable, we just grow more vaccine. We will have this under control within a year and the World will recover including the economy.
