  1. … It is nice for people to think of you as good .. and it is more beautiful if you are better than they think … 🕊🕊💕

  2. They can’t even tell us an accurate story of what’s going on in today’s world… I wonder how much of history they’ve changed..

    1. @k M You’re already there. I’ve heard about the oxygen issues but not about the ban. Is India a member of the WHO?

    2. @Marty Baldwin Russia,China,France, Australia,UK,Germany,Brazil help India and POTUS biden not even comment of Indian situation. the leader of superpower shows this kind of attitude makes USA weak.

  3. Should not have allowed the remarks to be removed from the record. these bigots need to be held accountable.

    1. @Climate Fascism You do know thatDC’s residents are predominantly black, right? Why else wouldn’t the GOP oppose?

    2. @Climate Fascism Well, you’ll never know and I’ll never care, especially when your statement doesn’t make any sense.

    1. @Ardechir Pakfar chuck schumer recently said he is not for the making Puerto Rico a state and this was after they gained the majority. Before he said was for it if dems gained the majority, however, 2 months ago he said he won’t support it.

Why would Chuck backtrack you ask? Probably to pander for the latino vote for the general election and Georgia run off.

Dont believe me? Go look it up.

    2. @Don Nwzad Why shouldn’t PR be a state? The people are the wrong color? Or do they speak the wrong native language? Or both? #Bigot

    3. The combined population of 15 states – Alaska, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky and South Carolina – is around 38 million people. These citizens are represented in the US Senate by 30 Republican senators, even though their combined population is less than that of California which has just two Democratic senators.

The 50 Republican senators received 20 million fewer votes that the 50 democratic senators.

One potential step to addressing this imbalance would be to grant statehood to Washington DC and Puerto Rico.
Neither the US capital nor Puerto Rico have representation in the US Senate, as well as having just one non-voting member each in the House of Representatives. This means their combined population of almost four million (largely black and Hispanic residents) are effectively unrepresented, while the 580,000 mainly white residents of Wyoming have 2 Senators and a Representative.

  4. Point of order… Please strike every racial argument from the congressional record. This leaves the reicht without a voice at all!

    1. He is a true left wing bigot. He judges people on the basis of skin color – just like most of CNN reporters.
If puny dc is made into a state then east CA, east OR and east WA should be made into states. These areas never vote liberal yet they are ruled over by liberal politicians from the western part of the state. Both their land mass and populations are larger than the puny city state of dc. The Democrats are a Party of racists and totlatarians

    2. @W.E. Rob Racist whites would be triggered by that. I’m white and didn’t bat an eyelash. Blacks have every reason to “be racist” and it’s got zero to do with “what happened 400 yrs ago”… try every moment to present day. Modern history don’t lie.

  5. “I never realized there were so many syllables in the word white.”

    The best! 😆💯👍

  6. I assume DC residents don’t have to pay federal taxes since “no representation without taxation” is one of our cherished tenets.

    1. @Adam Smith That would be you. While there are black Republicans, the majority are Democrats and we all know that the Republicans don’t want DC statehood for that very reason.

    2. @Marty Baldwin That doesn’t make any sense. Im glad you guys are pushing this narrative though. We have reached the phase where you just call everything racist. So now racism means nothing when people hear it. If everything is racist, nothing is racist. The reason is clear, you wanna get rid of the filibuster, a few democrats won’t go along with you, so you want 2 more. Its a federal district, basically a city for the federal goverment. Set aside to never be a state or within a state. We are all for working with you, to redistrict the “District of Columbia” to exclude the residential area and give them back to their state of origin. Maryland or Virginia, To give you senate and house representatives. Why are you not ok with this? We have done it before as well. Its the clear solution.

    3. @C Mortenson DC residents vote. In fact DC helped elect Biden. They are represented by the entire House of Representatives.

    4. @MAGA 2020 I didn’t use the word racist-you did. I SAID, that most black people identify as Democrat and that black people are the predominant race in DC. That’s why the GOP doesn’t want statehood for DC.

  7. If they don’t want DC to have statehood, then don’t collect taxes from the DC residence. Times have changed.

    1. @Charlie Brown it can stay and the residents could be citizens of Maryland, but this wouldn’t give the democrats additional senators or reps.

    2. @Edwin M they also have to bring in one more territory. Which would most likely be Puerto Rico, older resident don’t want statehood, younger resident do because the taxes have been raised so High they may as well be a state. From what I read states have to come in equal numbers. I may be wrong of course.

  8. Ye should add 3 states – then there’d be 53 … a prime number, thus ‘One nation indivisible’ !

    I’ll get my coat so…

  9. It is literally written in the constitution that the seat of government not be beholden to a state. This has been settled since 1790.
