@OneStep Closer Since they flipped back up to democrats 5 states and more people voted Democrat this year than for any party in history I would say people support their policies just fine. And, what kind of damage are you speaking of?
@Enrique Ordaz The excitement was against Trump, not for the Democrats. No one tried to understand what led to Trump, instead they insult and demonize. We elected a VP (likely President in a year) who gave no press conferences while campaigning. Do we have any idea what her policies are? The damage will come because the media’s laser focus was on everything Trump did. Meanwhile we elevated a clearly declining candidate. Trust will be broken when Joe Biden makes too many gaffes on a world stage and has to step aside.

BTW, democratic policies like gender and wage equalities, pro-choice, alternate energy sourcing, universal healthcare, more taxes for the rich, etc are still very popular amongst our people.

Over the last 20 years, the congress has become more and more partisan. There is no middle ground anymore. And the people are the ones who will suffer.
Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’s leadership is what is hurting the Democratic Party. Especially Schumer… with him as leader the Dems will never take the senate…. as much as I hate McConnell… he has outsmarted Schumer at every turn in the senate and is willing to play dirty… until Democrats are willing to play dirty like Republicans they will always be on the losing end.
