    1. They wouldn’t dare, Harris is one of their darlings. Look at how much they’re reaching to protect Biden’s feelings after that abysmal debate showing. No one even mentioned how he would fair against Trump on a debate stage. Trump would eat him alive!!!! It’s so obvious.

    1. @misternightstar A candidate who knows what they are doing finds a way to turn the question to their strong point or issue. Both Warren and Sanders did it the other time. Yang just seems to fall into a kind of robot mode in debates. He did better this time, for sure, but he still needs a lot of prep and practice.

    2. @Ben Smith We start war and spend trillions of dollars, we sent people to moon, we print trillions of dollars to bailout wall street (including car dealers, real estate tycoons like Trump, Etc.). When talking about bail out the people, it becomes never gonna happen. A sad scenario because working people are used to be exploited and attacked and become so humble that anything good to them is perceived not gonna to happen. Just sad.

    3. @Todd Jones no he didn’t.. trump has no Hillary Clinton this time to bully.. he will lose yugly and he knows it!

    4. @imbigbob I agree eventually something like it happen but it is certainly not going to happen untill a violent massive country wide upheaval.

  1. Maccaskill is not progressive. Doesn’t add much. But true the Democrats should not be attacking each other. That’s not the best strategy. It’s ridiculous

    1. Historically it doesn’t hurt the challenging party. If the incumbent party has infighting, that has an effect. Biden is Hillary 2.0

    2. @The_Endgame hillary 2.0 is exactly what the dnc wants ewe to vote for. no “collusion” there, is there……….??

    3. @scrub44 ya but its within not from outside invaders. But truth Biden is Hillary 2.0. Trump would rip him apart.

  2. Jump to 13:47 to hear Lawrence O’Donnell. Everything else is standard corporatist trash.

    1. @No Matters I was thinking they should have asked exactly the same questions as they asked the night before but they didn’t. Why is that I wonder?

    2. @John Y Yaussi You clearly have a great grasp on how that would effect taxes long term. But hey, we can tax them heavily twice, until they’re gone.

    1. The debate would have actually been entertaining with a lightsaber duel, so no, it wasn’t unfortunately.

    2. it’s news music! Like, the type you’d expect in a Star War movie, in a scene where they are playing the news!

  3. Biden’s full of it and not telling the full story. The so-called decuction he refers to, a tax increase, is more than made up by not having to pay a cent in insurance premiums to private insurance companies.

    1. Matt Kramer Where do you get your info? Your story is a couple years old. The “other countries” long waits etc. has been debunked by lots of people who live there. They always get immediate emergency/acute care but may have to wait a short while for ELECTIVE medical care. “Subsidized” by the employer means the employee still has a significant portion of the premium to pay themselves and quite often over $1000 a month for a family. How is that sustainable for people earning less than 6 figures? And employer based insurance is typically only for white collar workers. Non-unionized hourly workers rarely even have that option because they’ve had their hours reduced to keep them below full-time status therefore no benefits like paid sick days or insurance at all. And don’t ignore the issue of employer insurance not being transferable when someone loses or changes their job. Have you looked at COBRA premiums on your plan (you must have a plan or you wouldn’t defend it so strongly). Put yourself in the shoes of someone who does not have a job like yours and do some worst case scenarios. You’ll probably be the first to cry foul when you get cut off for a pre-existing condition, or your insurance decides not to cover the expensive treatment your 6 yr old daughter needs to survive, or you have a stroke and spend 3 months in ICU and then 6 months in a rehab facility and you exceed your lifetime benefit or the deductibles alone cost $50,000.

    2. You think that Medicare for all is going to improve these things? It hasn’t been debunked. They get immediate emergency care yes. You get immediate emergency care here in the USA wether you have insurance or not. Monopolizing health care is the wrong decision. Monopolizing any service is wrong. That’s why it’s illegal. As far as pre-existing conditions Obama put an end to that. I get insurance through my work and because of Obama’s mandate I can’t be turned down from any insurance wether I change jobs or not for a preexisting condition. Also EVERY JOB OFFERS INSURANCE it is now illegal not to. As far as “blue collar jobs” who earn less and insurance is higher you can go out and get your own insurance plan Tailored to your needs. There are options. And as far as jobs go there are options. When you take away someone’s option it is wrong.

Also as far as Medicare for all when you work your taxes will then go towards covering everyone. Though there are a few instances where people with lower incomes will be helped greatly for the most part you are just covering people who don’t use it, don’t even deserve it. People make choices in life. It’s not my responsibility To help cover someone or a majority or people who didn’t make the choices to make sure they are financially covered.

There will be probably 10% that fit this “hard working, up standing citizen, that no matter how hard they try just can’t get ahead” that this will help. The rest are people who have made bad choices and looking for a bailout. You also have these people pushing Medicare for all wanting to give it to illegal immigrants.

Long story short no government run healthcare monopoly. And all these free things doesn’t incentivize anyone to get up and do something. It’s the easy way out.

    3. Kjell Beilman watch louder with crowder and see his video on Canadian healthcare. Don’t believe news articles. Dude goes there and actually talks to people.

    4. @Matt Kramer Single Payer will spread out cost and employer will be paying in just like with FICA. The tax will be less and progressive based for the employee portion. Medical Clinic’s and Hospitals are required to be non-profit org.’s. Billing overhead is cheaper with one payer. drug cost negotiation, patient visit fully covered. Medicare, Medicaid and eventially V.A. taxed general fund moneys all incorporated as part of the Single Payer System. No one in the medical field will be in the poor house either that’s a propagandized lie. HR1384 M4A bill. Over all medical expenses will cost the average working class U.S citizen less and Union’s can focus on wage increase and retirement benefit negotiations. Educate yourself https://youtu.be/njJFXIuK2io and look up Dr. Margaret Flowers (PNHP: Physicians for National Health Program)

  4. if we are going to progress, the Dems can’t have any sacred cows.
This included Obama and his policies.

    1. snoop alert I hope you realize just how long we’ve been a SOCIALIST capitalist country because we’ve been one for over a century.

    2. @sycomantz well I hope you realize we’re 22 trillion dollars in debt and we can’t afford the government we have now, the new demands for socialism are self-centered and greedy they will pass on not just tens of trillions hundreds of trillions of dollars of debt to their kids their grandkids and great-grandkids , at some point college loans get paid off what government taking your money that never ends and is enforced at the barrel of a gun, if you default on a college loan you file bankruptcy if you don’t pay your taxes you end up in jail

  5. WTF, it sounds like the Joe Biden review discussion. The “How is this making Biden look good?” discussion.

  6. Claire McCaskill can surely tell you how to lose she knows all about that. She is giving analysis on a news network when she still have problems analysing her lost nearly a year ago. #Hilarious

  7. Joe Reid on what planet do you currently live on? How could you believe healthcare is great right now?
    #DetachedFromReality

  8. Lawrence O’Donnell has the only common sense on the panel. Claire Mccaskill should be on Fox News like she was after she lost her election. You need to watch. This is not a game show, or ratings game, it’s our democracy.

    1. Lawrence O’D APOLOGIZED to Don-Con on his tv show and called Trump a man of ”stature’ for shaking his hand!….sense? lost them. he’s got seduced! People pleasing and cow-towing – he needs calling out for his past behavior too. Just google it, its on y/tube

  9. “(Biden) seemed to be aware he was in a debate, which was a start for him.” – Chris Matthews

    Funny.

    1. It’s easy for Biden if he has no age problems, show energy and mental competence, he will be the nominee. His problem isn’t his 40 year record or not coming up with a Democratic populist plan that will be as far along as Trump’s populist promises 4 or 8 years later, his problem is being perceived as too old for the job.

  10. Andrew took to the stage and gave the most complete vision for the future of this country out there. He made better arguments for policies that other candidates have spent their whole careers trying to build. – Zach Braumann.

  11. I don’t know where they are getting these polls # saying Biden is ahead
b/c if can’t handle these debates and they keep pushing him into running
against TRUMP not only will the Democrats LOOSE , Trump will send him
back in a BODY BAG! Mark my words! Trump is just WAITING for Biden to
become the nominee to carve him up! The only hope they have is Bernie
    ,Warren & Mayor Pete!

    1. As much as I love Bernie, and in a perfect world he would be the guy, Liz leans just enough to the center that centralists just may support her which is crucial to have their votes. Bernie may lean centralists over to Trumps camp.

    2. @ruebensfilms people are going to vote for Bernie just to vote against Trump. Not to mention I think these polls are underestimating youhng people who overwhelmingly support Bernie

  12. Thank you, Lawrence!!! 🙏🏽 The only person on this panel who actually knows what they are saying.

  13. Kamala Harris talks about people going to prison for far less, she is probably talking about the people she locked up for a bag of weed

  14. Way to applaud the discussion of issues of substance in the debate, while obsessing over attacks on Biden. Good job on pointing out Tulsi Gabbard’s competence. She should be front and center in discussions in my opinion.
