    2. @Myballsitchsomethingfierce Right! Name me a politician who doesn’t own a nice house and new cars and donates a large percentage of their income to the poor. If there were enough like that to form a party, I would vote for that party with a clear conscience.
      Unfortunately, we have to pick and choose. I vote policy over personality, and personal freedom over government handouts. Fwiw, a handout, to me, is something that one takes, even though they don’t need it, and greedy people are never too concerned about how the giver is faring. Our nation is deeply in debt, and yet the average American still asks them for help.

    1. In 2018, It Costs $685 Billion a Year to Subsidize Affordable Care Act.
      There was “Nearly 12 Million” enrolled in Affordable Care Act 2018.

      $685,000,000,000 / 12,000,000people = $ 57,083 per person in 2018

      This does not include premiums people pay. This does not include employer fees into ACA.

  5. If “the people” were given the wonderful health package that Congress gets & they were given the choice we have, they might finally do something!

    1. Who is going to give the people the same wonderful health care package? Nobody. Republicans dont even want ordinary people to have the flawed but very useful ACA coverage. The goal is to leave ordinary people prey to avaricious insurance companies and big pharma. Who is getting kickbacks? Senators?
      To hang on to their ACA coverage, thousands or millions of people need to take grassroots action to make senators vote against this woman who is basically Trump’s stooge. Not too late.

I’ve traveled to many countries around the World, and when I tell them what kind of Healthcare system we currently have, they can’t believe we allow such an “antediluvian” system.

Without RBG – there would be no women on the Supreme Court, in Congress or in the Senate or running as the VP. She stands on the shoulders of a women who was small in physical stature but far greater in character and fierceness in the belief in the rights of all citizens under the law regardless of race, gender, orientation and who they love.
