  1. The high capacity magazine ban is a great idea. On another subject , Trump is clearly mentally unstable ( ill )

    1. “…high capacity magazine ban is a great idea.”

It was part of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban 94-04 the FBI said the legislation was ineffective for reducing gun crime. Gun massacres were slightly higher during that time frame when the ban was in date compared to decades prior.

      “…Trump is clearly mentally unstable…”

      Oh clearly. Proof?

    2. @James Harrison “… yet for my target practice or hunting needs I bought 5 round magazines that better fit my needs.”

Sounds like virtue signalling to me.

“…spoiled as I lived many years in Europe in Germany where every little town has a public gun range…”

Same there are ranges open to the public in most U.S. cities.

“…ranges provide free safety and gun training.”

It isn’t like safety training isn’t available. Often you get vouchers for sponsored training after purchase of even accessories.

“Most people don’t just buy a car never having drove one and set out first thing on the interstate on a cross country trip.”

I was driving a vehicle on my father’s land unsupervised when I was 8. I pulled stumps with a winch.

    1. @Ash Roskell
So in your troll farm, was it a ten rupple and shot of vodka to the troll both sides of a subject today? You win yet???

ssri’s + guns = mass shootings and suicides

Any psych md or md: explain how ssri’s work emperically?

      And ash….ur amusing. Not.

    2. @Ash Roskell ? Dude…what is your point. this is not a political subject to me personally pertaining to this fact:
ssri’s + guns = mass shootings and suicides.

      it’s an emperical intellectual discussion.

Ash- brother….i am a pacifist brah…so…like…whatever with ur attempts to create an argument. I love you. Peace.

ssri’s + guns = mass shootings and suicides

ssri’s + guns = mass shootings and suicides

    3. World Love : You even write with a Russian accent, son. I’ve noticed that the 6 pm shift always starts with the drunk ones in St Petersburg. “I’m right, you’re wrong. ‘Coz, science, or somethin’” Grow up, son 🤣

  2. Sorry to all the gun nuts but the only way to ensure that crazy people don’t have access to guns is to take them away. No red flag law will be able to ensure public safety.

    1. Sorry to all illegal immigrant supporters but it looks like the only way to teach illegals their place in society is to shoot them

    2. Dittzx you have given me a great idea for what the government should do with illegals who are repeat offenders! Tattoos or some kind of tag to know which ones to execute

    3. “…ensure that crazy people don’t have access to guns is to take them away. No red flag law will be able to ensure public safety.”

Ah so who has the firearms, which houses?

    4. @Dittzx “… Facial Recognition becomes publicly available) face a future of; Shame, public ridicule, treasonous, and spit in their food..”

Hm – so harassment. You do realize you could be sued civilly for doing this? You could also be criminally arrested.

    5. @Dittzx why dont you personally try to take Americans guns we dare you to try Liberal progressive democrat leader

    1. James Harrison if I ever drew a line on the second amendment, it would probably be somewhere around bio-weapons, nukes etc

    2. This is why people are always wrong on this issue. They don’t even know the current laws we have or understand how the firearm they are talking about even works.

  3. It’s depressing that we’ve actually hit the point where I’m tired of listening to these politicians saying “We need to stop with talking points”. Nowadays, it’s becoming the newest repetitive anthem for every single politician that won’t do anything, further shading the ongoing declination of action by republicans as more of a grey area. Don’t ever forget who’s doing nothing on guns, again. Ignore the republicans that say we need to have bipartisan support for some of these gun and background check bills that have already passed the House of Representatives. They’re the ones that are refusing to act after every single mass shooting. Bipartisanship is dying.

    1. Too many instances of government incompetence in enforcing the laws. From the NICS to the Federal AWB. All have been ineffective and filled with fraud. No more gun control for me.

  4. Democrats have already taken action on passing gun legislation several months ago. Lets not forget that Americans. The problem is the Republicans are stonewalling the progress.

  5. We need more fully automatic and easy to use guns, to protect ourselves against gun violence and mass shootings.

  6. Red flag laws, universal background checks, high capacity magazine ban AND assault weapons ban are needed. Another thing that’s needed, thorough background checks and mental health exams for presidential candidates. If the head of the CIA needs a background check for security clearance, the president should too.

    1. Johnny Dotson not in Idaho, in Idaho people have to prove someone is a criminal.

Too bad Californians are flooding in and trying to change that.

  7. MSNBCCCP feed piled with really crap stories today. They didn’t get their 4A.M. taking points today. The CIA…their puppet handlers have been dismantled!!!
Read any good Q posts lately???
    WWG1WGA!!!!!!!

  8. Pretty simple: you can’t outlaw mental illness, but you can outlaw weapons of war, which is why no other developed nation has this problem (arguably though citizens in other developed nations are more sane, humane, and adult than Americans and always have been).

    1. Canada has a higher homicide rate than the US per gun owner despite the requirement for training, registration, licensing, and daily background checks. There are 2 million Canadian gun owners. We know that due to licenses. 12.6 million Americans have hunting licenses, but 39% – 50% of Americans own guns based on research. With a population of 329 million at least 128 million Americans own guns. Canada has 37 million people which is less than California alone at 39 million. Canada has 7 times less gun deaths, but the US has 8.9 times more people, officially. There are 120,000 estimated illegals in Canada compared to 11.4 million in the US. 2.6 million tourists visit Canada every year compared to 78 million USA. 39.7 million is the number of people in Canada every year vs. 420.2 million in the US. The US has 10.5 times more people realistically. Canada has an average of 245 gun homicides vs. 9,733 in the US. There are .00012 gun homicides per gun owner in Canada vs. .000076 incidents per gun owner in the US with Canada having 58% more incidents per gun owner. Gang violence contibutes to 65% of Canadian gun homicides and 80% in the US. Approximately 147 of 245 murders in Canada are gang violence vs. 7,786 out of 9,733. Most all gang violence is committed by people with criminal records using illegally obtained handguns. Canada has 38 rifle homicides including the AR 15. The US has 317. Rifles make up .000019 homicides per gun owner vs. .0000024 in the US meaning 792% greater use of rifles by Canadian gun owners. .0000062 gun deaths per persons in Canada vs. .00000023 in the US. A person visiting Canada is 269% more likely to be killed by a gun. Despite strict gun control the smaller Canadian population is a greater risk. Using homicides per gun owner takes into account stolen guns and murders comitted by legal owners. Your chances of being killed by an AR 15 in the US are less than 1 in 1.3 million while it is 1 in 1.04 million in Canada. But, there are 70,000 AR 15’s in Canada vs. 5.6 million in the US. The AR 15 is a semi-auto rifle and not a fully automatic “assault rifle” like the M16A2 or M4. Finallly, here are two people using old west guns to hit 25 targets in less than 30 seconds – faster than Dayton shooter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPMH5RnTqBg

  9. To Late ,, Philly was caused by a Revolving Door DA that releases Violent Criminals , Parkland was caused by DEMS not wanting to get bad stats due to Violent Youths , and in this and many other cases the DEMS blamed a Tool rather then the Mentally ill persons that were causing the crimes

  10. Bypass all gun laws by having and carrying a Jo staff as a weapon. Now Dems go to your corner and chew on that.

  11. The simple fact is the second amendment is not going anywhere. You want our firearms come and take them. There are millions of firearm owners in this country and 98.9% of firearm owners will not be heading in any firearms to the government. Benjamin Franklin once said, Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

  12. It’s NOT complicated. All the dems have to do is to call it the “Blue Lives Matter Law”. Cops have to fight like soldiers in a war against their fellow citizens with military style guns with large capacity magazines and die on the streets. That’s NOT the job they signed up for.

  13. We don’t need more laws that diminish and undermine the natural rights of free people. We need legislation that expands, protects and reinforces those rights.
The next legislative goal should be to repeal the NFA of 1934. Then maybe mandate firearm education in schools. Officially list Supremacist and other potentially violent Fundamentalist groups as terrorist organizations. Stricter regulations and research requirements for psychoactive pharmaceuticals.

  14. There is a deep rooted agenda to disarm free people. And the motivations behind are not to save lives or keep people safe. If you truly believe their are honest and good intentions behind the laws being proposed, then tell me when has being disarmed ever gone well for free citizens?

  15. While they’re talking about gun control millions of Americans are buying more guns and ammunition. Once the gun owners of America start to March down the streets with their rifles on their backs it’s going to be game over for these tyrants. They will have to bring in the United Nations to fight us. No red-blooded American soldier will fight they’re American brothers and sisters.
