A case should have been made that Flynn committed treason; if the case were made, he could not have been pardoned
Nothing prevents a pardon for Treason.
Do we know the exact terms of the presidential pardon? I’ve only seen the tweet. The judge asked for details, so there is presumably a written pardon somewhere in the court papers by now.
It appears that the adults around Trump have to extract meaningful orders from his stream of verbiage and write them up as clear, comprehensible instructions for him to sign. Or do presidential tweets themselves have the force of law?
What I’m getting at is that Flynn may only have been pardoned for lying to the FBI about his actions, which means charging him for the substantive acts now would not be “double jeopardy.”
Also, it’s unlikely that he has a PROSPECTIVE pardon for any acts of treason he may commit in the future.

While he’s the commander in chief, lower ranking officers would be held to court martial/military tribunal or captain’s mast (Navy equivalent) for following unlawful orders. Commandeering civilian elections across multiple states would definitely violate military law.
He could give the order…the Congress or Senate could override it and any military personnel who enacted that order would be held in violation of the UCMJ.
Besides, the military is too vast and diverse. Even if a few units went rogue and actually attempted a military coup…it would be very few against the rest of the military as well as civilian law enforcement agencies.
