Power Play host Don Martin says the comments puts a bit of a 'harder edge' to Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump's relationship at the end of a meeting that started out so well.

  1. šŸ¤£ Is this any surprise? Itā€™s politics…..do you think any politician is really offended by this? Better have tougher skin if they are….not going to last long otherwise.

  2. unscheduled meeting… i guess he’s been ignored again. and “going so well” – doubt that! 2% is the magic number

  3. Why canā€™t Trudeau actually be a leader? This just looked like clucking hens complaining because they got called out… Trump should have said Trudeau is ā€œa two-faced, blackface wearing jokeā€

    1. Sockboy being a “leader ” is an oxymoron. And everyone with half a brain knows it. Except, apparently Toronto. Case closed on that one. Trump actually showed real class and restraint towards Trudeau. Trudeau, on the other hand showed he’s nothing more than a gossipy, little girl on the playground.

    1. Kevin Beausoleil he could clean out the tax payer purchased freezers. After all he is cleaning out the real taxpayers!

    2. @Dan MacDonald He would never work bagging groceries in Montreal because he wouldn’t do it without his hijab and prayer mat.

  4. Trudeauā€™s comments are going to cost Canada.
    Very unprofessional and self-indulgent.
Too bad the average Liberal voter doesnā€™t understand that.

    1. Wrong. The average Liberal voter understands professionalism. That’s why they don’t vote Conservative and why they held there noses when they voted Liberal regardless of Trudeau’s gaffs. Don’t ever confuse the culture of business that Conservatives love to claim they are members, with professionalism.

    2. nitrampd : You donā€™t know the difference between their/theyā€™re/there; and ā€œthat they love to claim they are membersā€ is very poorly worded. Iā€™d accept ā€œthat they claim to be members ofā€ but ā€œof which they claim to be membersā€ would be better. Either way, the sentence would still suck. Maybe English isnā€™t your first language.
That aside, Conservatives under Scheer are just as bad as Liberals under Trudeau.
      Itā€™s not a ā€œone or the otherā€ situation.
      Both parties have sold out.
That doesnā€™t change the validity of my original point.
Trudeau cutting down Trump was stupid and unprofessional.

  5. Part of this video has been cut from the version I saw earlier today. It is easy to see that Trudeau was half cut and you could notice it from his facial expressions. Loose lips sink ships.

  6. Just more of JTs Junior High actions….. He will do better when he grows up. This adolescence stage will pass by the time JT gets to the Nursing home

  7. “Much ado about nothing.” Diplomacy among the worlds leaders is NOT nothing. Should he wish to speak with his staff about this, that is one thing. But this is extremely embarrassing for Canada.

    1. Pierre Trudeau said none of his sons would be prime minister. I guess he knew way back then that they weren’t smart enough.

  8. ” It was incredible he didn’t know what he was doing ” LOL. That is not incredible at all. We voted a former teacher to be our Prime Minister.
