‘Don’t understand it’: This B.C. restaurant was taxed $6K for air above it

The owner of a Vancouver restaurant is facing an extra $6,000 in taxes after being dinged for the air above the business.

  1. This isn’t ok I could maybe understand if he had some sort of structure on top of his restaurant but there isn’t just air that is the most Ludacris thing I’ve ever seen I hope he doesn’t have to pay it

  3. R.C.A did this to me said I should be making $100k more than what a single parent should make and taxed me on it . if a lawyer did not help me for free id be screwed. the sad part they can do it.

  4. WTF? Does that mean we can now tax every mansion several times their past rates because each and every one of them could be condo complexes?
