They are punishing Pfizer for not being part of Operation Warp Speed (receiving money from the Trump administration). They are pressuring the FDA to approve the Moderna vaccine (Moderna received money from Trump admin. to make their vaccine) so that they can push Moderna over Pfizer! They are tryin to hurt Pfizer financially bcuz Pfizer called out the Trump admin lie that they produced a vaccine bcuz of his efforts! This is classic Trumpism: punish your enemies or anybody who disagrees with your assertions.
Surely, the vaccine doses are already paid for… terms for their reservation??

I think what is going on is that all the powers that be, Trump and his administration, have bought shares in Mederna. They want financial benefits that they won’t get with Pfizer. I think that’s also why turned down buying more doses when offered.
