  1. Food for thought, consider why the education system is why it is and rethink its usefulness, it failed to teach people all that much at the best of times.

    1. It’s because we don’t value education in American society. The GOP has consistently gutted education funding for years, college costs more in America than virtually any other industrialized country, and Bush’s No Child Left Behind Act has been a disaster.

    2. @Luke Oliver

      That too.

Though I was specifically referring to primary and secondary education, it’s intentionally not set up to be optimal at teaching kids information, it exists mostly to get kids used to labour hours for when they are older.

    3. @Mother Reaper you’re not wrong! A lot of parents see it as free childcare. And the standardized tests have prepared kids to take a test and not to get a comprehensive education. Change is definitely needed!

  2. 1,000 deaths per day = Oh no this is horrible!
2,000 deaths per day = What are we going to do? This is horrible!
3,000 deaths per day = Meh
4,000 deaths per day = Are you still talking right now?

  3. During the election Joe said he had a plan to move us out of the COVID-19 nightmare that we are presently in. Joe must now put his plan into action so that we can get out from under this virus nightmare, go back to work and get our kids back in school without any obstruction. We need Joe now to take the action that he promised during the campaign.

    1. Im sure hes doing all he can but this is all a year too late. Its out there in large numbers and you cant put the genie back in the bottle. Its up to everyone to stop the spread.

  4. With school reopening we need to vaccinate all HIGH RISK teachers, students, and staff. With vaccines still in short supply, focus on the vulnerable.
