    1. really, a pandemic proves there is no “god”, it is an imaginary friend with no powers.
prayers are useless (just wishes), did you win the lottery ? if so it was luck.
anyway i hope that the state does not need mass graves. wish you all well.

    1. And the first EO Biden makes will be to Open Borders and let MILLIONS of CoVid infected in to overwhelm the US Healthcare system. “Never let a good crisis go to waste!” Hillary Clinton

  1. Looking from australia it seems you need a fair dinkum health system to cover every one, stay safe and good luck.

  2. People are terrified of hospital costs and put off going to hospital for far too long, hoping to get better by themselves. It’s one of the biggest factors in this terrible number of deaths in the US. A test alone costs the person about $200, whereas in most advanced countries it’s covered by taxes already given to the government, and this encourages people to be checked early and to seek treatment early. One woman whose husband did survive intensive care for covid-19 in the US says her bill will be at least $500,000 and could end up being double that. No other advanced democracy would stand for it: not Britain, or France, or Germany or Australia. In Australia, for example, an asthma puffer cots the person $20. In the US the same item costs $200.

    1. Diane O’Donovan I hope for the sake of all Americans that this virus will prompt governments in the USA to start thinking of a better healthcare system that works for everyone. I can’t believe the so called richest country in the world doesn’t give a toss about their own people, the vulnerable, the elderly or people with health issues. Its all about profit and greed. This is what the USA seems to be built on, they mock socialism and people in Europe and the U.K. saying they don’t have freedom. Well we in the U.K. have had a healthcare for all since 1948. When our country decided they wanted a socialist government the government brought in healthcare for all, from the cradle to the grave. This was at a time when the country was on its knees after the war. It’s been copied all over the world in some form or other, no one can understand why the USA can’t do this. All I read is people saying “I’m not paying for someone else’s health care, they should pay for their own” such a selfish, attitude. Why they have that attitude I really don’t understand, yet they don’t
mind paying taxes for the military, which is the biggest in the world and no other country will ever overtake them. I do see more Americans questioning this though and more people, especially since this virus, wanting a more joined up healthcare system. I find it disgraceful that people have to pay to be tested for Covid. How are they going to get a grip of this virus if people are reluctant or can’t afford to pay for the test. I’m so glad my family in the USA have adequate insurance but I worry none the less. Trump and his administration of cronies have been a disaster for the USA, I only hope Biden wins in November, if he does he’s got a lot of work to do cleaning up nearly four years of trump trashing all the departments and agencies that have been gutted and the USAs standing in the world which at the moment has never been so low.
