They do not seem to be promising a miracle. The vaccine is available to at-risk populations and essential workers and politicians as well as the members of the Phase 3 trial that must occur concurrently during a pandemic situation. The herd immunity may not be acheived but by then they will have the option of procuring other vaccines that have gone through Phase 3 trials with a high efficacy rate.
