The workers in infrastructure, in transportation, in healthcare and in retail, etc. Private people are of the least concern when it comes to mask distribution. If we lose the essential workers, EVERYTHING collapses. And that means a single one of those. Lose energy, lose everything. Lose medical staff, lose everything. Lose food providers, lose everything. Etc etc.

Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve learned so much about this pandemic and related issues, much of it directly from nurses. First and foremost, if you’re sick with symptoms not relative to COVID-19, don’t let your fear of contracting the illness outweigh your common sense. Three weeks ago, I agonized (literally) over a decision “to go or not to go” to the hospital, and inevitably went on April 2. I’m still here, with a large duodenal ulcer, improving, and totally safe from the virus due to great quick screening and illness segregation in a Connecticut hospital. Kudos to Governor Lamont AND to the wonderful medical community for keeping us safe. ❤
