Dr. Sharfstein On Doses Schedule: We Should Stick To The Regimen That Is Proven To Be 95% Effective

  1. Why would we need to cut doses to increase supply if we aren’t effectively dispersing the doses we have ?

  2. There’s already too many uncertainties in people’s minds, now start saying you can have half doses be effective and people will really think you don’t know what you’re talking about!

    1. The Brits are doing it. granted, they have acces to more vaccines then the US does, so it’s only the Pfizer one that’s cut in half. Their idea is that it’s better to get more people somewhat resistant to the virus, then fewer people 95%. They have also close all travel, as we have done to them a few weeks back.
But I get your point, it would not work in the US, England is after all, an Island.

    1. Praying isn’t going to help with this virus. Proff, a LOOOOT of preacher are dead because they thought so. Get your shot, lets get this thing under control

    2. @Ral Deform greetings friend… whether you die from a virus or by other means is irrelevant. The point is everyone will eventually die for it is appointed all men die once, and again, death is the wages of sin….. Turn to the Lord, Remember him—before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. If you have an ear to hear please hear. Peace Ral

  3. Congratulations Kelly and David, great victory. President Trump will be reelected tomorrow!

    1. Yeah, no. That not gonna happen. You little hopes are just gonna be strained a little longer. Biden is the elect-POTUS. There is nothing the senate or the house can do

  4. t’rump’s idea was to just cut the dosage in half and that way we can vaccinate twice the number of people.
Sadly, that also means the half dose is worthless, but hey, at least he’s trying! 😂🤣

  5. If Dr. Fauci says stick to the regimen, that’s good enough for me. For me, it’s the full dose or NO dose rather than constantly worrying about whether or not the half dose worked.

  6. I disagree. The efficacy for one dose falls to 92%. I think it makes more sense to get as many people as you can vaccinated right away. Think about it. The more people vaccinated, the better chance of herd immunity.

  7. Since age is the biggest risk factor, start with those over 80, then allow all over 70 to be vaccinated, then 60, then 50. Just vaccinate people at the same places they get their flu shot. Nobody knows where they can go, every state has a difference system. What is happening now is confusing. Make it simpler, have a national appointment system that gives everyone a place nearby to get vaccinated.
