    1. A message of hope, TRUMP: “I think at some point it is just going to disappear” is terrible ?, but, fear mongering that we are seeing more cases (that are NOT translating to death by the way) is a better message for the Public. If your going to preach about shutting down the people’s lively hood, like restaurants, you better talk about handing out fines to 100’s of people flocked together “PROTESTING” like in NY last night and today. We are sick of you ignoring them young privileged protesters, then trying to preach Anarchy rules to the honest hard working Tax payers of America!

  1. DeSantis in April: “You people have been saying for WEEKS that we’d be the next New York. Well, looks like we’re not!”
Corona: “Oohhh, a little fun in the sun sounds nice. Let’s go boys!”
DeSantis in June: “If we act fast we can stop the Corona.”
Corona: **applies more suntan lotion** 😎

  2. Attention Trump supporters and all veterans. Trump is undermining every wise move to save American lives. Hospitals in YOUR state may simply close their doors because they will be overwhelmed by this. YOU are being sacrificed for Trumps ego. Recognize when you are being used. Trump is incapable of leadership. Putin is smiling.

  3. Trump, the entire GOP, and all of their voters are complicit in the deaths of over 125,000 people. And, they’re STILL not taking the COVID-19 crisis seriously!

    1. @ruth depew We’re lucky of we are even at 50k deaths from solely Covid-19. Probably even lower. CDC has said they have to adjust a minimum of 25% LESS deaths due to NO TEST actually being done. Then even more due to counting only a positive Corona as the cause of death regardless of other factors.

    2. @J. Tueur do a comparison to the response of South Korea. They had their 1st confirmed case on the same day we did. They had access to the same testing technology we did. They have roughly 1/6th our population but is is more densely packed which should have made them more vulnerable. They didnt have any special information before us, they do not enjoy a good relationship with China. On March 6th they had ID’ed and isolated their 3rd “Special Care Zone” effectively shutting down a local area where an outbreak had been found. By that day they had done over 250k tests, we had done less than 10k. They had 3x the cases we had at that point and over 2x as many deaths. Much of that difference was because we were effectively not testing at all. On that day, when they were shutting down an area, Trump went on the Hannity show and told his followers that people with the virus could get better by going back to work. This was 3 days after saying it would go away like magic with warm weather. It would be 6 more weeks before any meaningful response came from the WH. What could he have done different? Well…. he could have started by not denying it was an issue at all and mocking those that were already calling for social distancing, testing, and contact tracing. I can provide a link to his continuous stream of denials if you like. Today, his approach has left us with 2.6M cases and over 128k deaths. that death count is likely a significant undercount based on research published yesterday by Yale. By comparison, SK has less than 13k cases and 600 deaths. Adjusting for population size, that would mean if we were as successful as South Korea, we would have roughly 80k cases and 4000 deaths. Maybe you can do the math…….

    1. There are several governors that need to take responsibility for some of the deaths. Trump can’t take all the blame when he told them they were in control of opening their states. I’m just saying. It’s all bad.

    1. @Erick Janes Listen buddy I have missed my strip club section each month for 5 months now. All because this fake crap. I am adult enough to decide whatever I do with my life, government doesn’t have to interfere in it. The day that happens, it has a name Communism.
      From a Florida man

    2. @Erick Janes my point is this State is not going back to close even if 10% of population dies. Life is not given survive the Strong – Charles Darwin

    3. I remember the 2018 election, just imagine if Andrew Gillum had won that close election, what a difference in COVID-19 response that would have ment! Actually science based leadership instead of pathetic pandering to the toddler in chief… just imagine!!!

  4. Dr. Vin Gupta: “A full shutdown is all but inevitable…”
Baby Donnie: “It will just disappear…”
    Who’s the utter fool?

    1. I don’t think it’s inevitable because I don’t think DeSantis or Drumf will order it. FL could hit millions of cases and they wouldn’t order it.

    1. @Mr A Maybe if there was a public healthcare that could answer to situations coherently instead of having 75% of your medical infrastructure being privatized, making every single thing you can get a life threatening threat because it will bankrupt you unless you’re part of the 10%

    1. Florida is a summer attraction state…with beautiful beaches.you can’t close down Florida you will have riots like they have in Seattle Minneapolis new York …

    2. @Thomas Armsworthy Jr You have no idea what you’re talking about. Summer is exceptionally humid and muggy in Florida. July and August are our slowest months for any ‘attractions’. We are also in the middle of hurricane season, which kicks into high gear from August through October. Our tourist season is from Thanksgiving to Easter, when the weather is pleasantly warm and mild. Anybody who can afford to leaves the state in the summer months. Hurricane season starts in June and doesn’t end until November. Right now the locals are not traveling, because no other country wants US visitors.

    3. I remember the 2018 election, just imagine if Andrew Gillum had won that close election, what a difference in COVID-19 response that would have ment! Actually science based leadership instead of pathetic pandering to the toddler in chief… just imagine!!!

  5. Crazy that the US doesn’t have any laws when it comes to removing a president that is a clear threat to the whole world. Never in a million years I would have thought that a president can do whatever he wants with zero consequences. Mind boggling is an understatement!!

    1. It beats me hollow that human beings with connecting brain cells would ignore all the vaccinations ( polio, measles, whooping cough, diptheria, tetanus etc)their parents took them to the hospitals to get so they could be counted amongst the living. Science made that happen not Donald Trump. If he does not need to teach folks how to make babies or choose the right person to date – why must he be the one to tell folks whether to wears masks or not? Grow up adults. Kindergarteners get it!!!

    2. Ah, but we _do_ have laws that say it is okay to invade a sovereign nation and remove their head of state for them. (hint, hint)

    3. Anette A-A his followers are cult-like zombies and cretins, that’s why. Oh and they are also the remnants of the Confederacy who don’t care what he does or saysBECAUSE he speaks their racist, hateful language

  6. To mask, or not to mask? MASK!
“Ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.” -JFK
If you love your country, and consider yourself a patriot, then you should be wearing a mask to protect the people of the country you love so much.

😷 = “I care about you, because you are important, and I want to protect my fellow Americans!”

Please engage in social distancing, and when you can’t, please wear a mask. This virus is unusual, in that it’s easily spread by asymptomatic carriers; so although you feel just fine, you’re still unknowingly, and unintentionally, infecting the people you encounter. Thankfully, you can avoid that, by just wearing a mask. Saving lives has never been so easy!

Now, we’re not asking you to wear a mask all day; just when you’re around people you don’t live with. And we’re not asking you to wear a mask forever; just until we get some control over the virus, which will happen much sooner, if more of us wear masks.

My mask protects you; yours protects me…..
    🎶 “That’s f*ckin’ teamwork!” – Tenacious D 🎶

*If you want to thank a nurse or a doctor, wearing a mask is all the thanks we need! Please help us save lives. Thanks y’all! ✌️💜🇺🇲😷 Stay safe and be well…

    1. @Cynthia Strahan No thanks needed! I had a choice to me moved to the COVID-19 unit, or stay put; I chose to work on the COVID-19 unit, and although it’s straining, it’s where I need to be, and it’s where I can make a difference.
I don’t think asking people to wear a mask is that big of a deal; it’s so easy, and can make such a big difference! Thank you for wearing a mask, and taking this thing as seriously as it should be. Please spread the word!
Take care, stay safe, and be well, Cynthia!💜

  7. If covid19 could talk it would say this ..

COVID-19: “Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear the first time, so let me
try again. I am immune to Trump’s lies and gaslighting. Ignorance and
misinformation from Trump and Fox only makes me stronger. I can’t be
defeated with phony patriotism, guns, flag waving, or denial. I can’t be
defeated with magic, because I am real, and magic is not. I can only be
defeated with science, facts, maturity, unselfishness, and common
sense. I am nothing like the flu, but the flu is a fan of mine, and it
wants to be like me when it grows up. Trying to ignore me won’t save
you. I can’t be defeated with thoughts and prayers, so going to places
of worship won’t save you. You may not be interested in me, but I am
obsessed with you. Currently there is no vaccine for me, and that’s the
problem. I recognize no one’s authority. Selfish ignorant people like
Trump and his cult are the wind beneath my wings, they give me life. I
may have lost some strength in other countries, but thanks to Trump,
America is making me great again.”

    1. To Richard Thomas: Thank you for your excellent Soliloquy or Reflection on This Virus, and our inane reaction to it.–Sincerely.

    2. Richard Thomas: Thank you for your perfect Soliloquy or Reflection about this Virus.–Sincerely.
(Hope I didn’t send this to someone else by mistake, or 2x to you.)

  8. DeSantis is acting irresponsibly, just like Trump. They’re supposed to be our leaders, the people we look up to, the people we look to for guidance….. 🏳️But they’re waving the white flag, they’ve given up on us, they are done….they’re letting COVID-19 win. What a shame. What a disgrace. What a failure. What a piece of shi….

  9. Common sense and logic are all we need to flatten the curve. Now where did we put those?

    1. currently on their holidays with critical thinking and decency leaving “I haven’t a clue” running the shop..

  10. Shut down everything and cut down hrs … people got to learn the hard way bunch of baby’s

  11. On Jan 2nd, China reported his first death from nCoV-19. On Jan. 20th China had enough evidence about human to human transmission and made it public to the wourld. It took China another three days to make masks obligatory for everyone, including their President.
In the US, almost half a year later, the WH is still in a stage of discussion what to do and hasn`t reached the point of decission yet. Meanwhile 131,000 US-citizens are dead, that`s more than in WWI. This is just ridiculous.
The US-American Chris Martens from Peak Prosperity on YouTube adviced his 300,000 viewers around Jan. 26th to put on masks when they go out to save human lifes. It wasn`t so difficult to figure that out. At this time these 131,000 fellow citizens where still alive. I call this mass murder by ignorance.

  12. A perfect storm of incompetent “leadership” , a deadly pandemic, misinformation and political turmoil. 😣

  13. “We’re going to be very good with the Corona virus”–what a simpleton. What an embarrassment.

  14. I like this Doc. He speaks his mind with no reservations unlike the Gupta in CNN. Physicians should tell us the facts as they see them because they are sworn professionals for public health !
